A meetville user I chatted with said about me that if he were judging a book by its cover he would say "ultra conservative evangelical republican/pastors wife" Once we chatted a bit he then said that I was more than meets the eye. I don't like some of the choices meetville provides. I am a nerd, but not a comic book nerd. And I would say I want to find friends, date, and see if it turns into a relationship. I would like to meet someone I have something in common with. Intelligence is important to me, as is good taste and someone who is a gentleman. And by a gentleman I am not talking about opening doors for me. That is nice, but what is more important is a man who can wait until after a first date before he starts talking about sex. I think a good relationship includes sex, but you have to build up to it. And I like kissing and affection, but I don't want that to be a substitute for conversation. I think conversation is so important in getting to know each other.I love to go out to eat. watch movies (either at the theatre or at home while snuggled up on the couch), listen to live music, go for walks in the park. (Can I bring my dog?) I love live theatre, singing karaoke, reading, and watching TV (history shows, biographies, and classic sitcoms). I love to travel (when I have the time and money.) I also love interesting people, good conversation, trivia games, dancing, and oldies music (70s is my favorite). I'm not into sports but it's ok if you are. I can sit on my end of the couch and read while you sit on your end of the couch and watch TV. If you play sports, I will come and watch you play sometimes, just not every game.I've had many people tell me how much I look like my pictures, and many people tell me I look much better than my pictures. I've also been told I'm a great kisser. ;) And, in case you can't tell, I'm a plus-sized woman. Not ginormous, but curvy.     Recently divorced and trying to get back into the swing of single life. I work full-time and I'm not to fussy about trying things. I am a down to earth woman who doesn't like to play games. I am an open and honest person if you want to know anything about me just ask. I have two grown children that I cherish. I am quite when you first meet me but once I get to know you I really open up. I am trying to get used to city life as I used to live in the county where my hobbies were my horses, landscaping and my dog. I am trying to figure out some landscaping ideas for my very small and un-private yard. So yes I am still adjusting to the city life! I like just about any kind of music as long as it is not heavy metal or hard rap. I would like to do some traveling as I haven't been to many places. I would like to go to Door County, the Dells, and to check our the Amish communities. Yes me the one afraid of the water went out on the air boat to see the alligators (maybe they were crocs?) anyways it was great and I loved when they would growl at you....lol. I can't swim and I'm afraid of the water. I will go out in a boat if the water is real calm and if I have a life jacket. I get really nervous in a row boat especially if you stand up or lean over the side. I did enjoy riding in the boat when my friends were water skiing. I liked the speed! I would like to go out on a pontoon boat I think that would be fun. I like to fish, but would prefer to do this from shore. I feel like I am the prey when there are fish bigger than me in the water.....maybe I shouldn't have watched JAWS...lol.I like to go camping, I haven't been people camping in years. (that's what we call it when we would camp with the horses) There was the horse camp and the people camp. Funny thing is we would go ride through their camp site area seeing how they camp and they would do the same with us to come and look at the horses.I just want to meet someone that wants to have some fun! I guess this depends on who I would meet and what their interest are. I'm not to fussy, so coffee and a chat would be fine, lunch or dinner, a movie, motorcycle ride and a drink, a walk with the dog. I'm open to different events, tractor pulls, drag races, rodeos, flea markets. A trip to the zoo, or museum would be fine to. I'm pretty open as far as things to do so lets get together and do them!!!
