Hello there, and welcome to my profile....I'm just a simple person. I try to keep my life as stress-free as possible. Being raised on a farm and a true country girl at heart, I understand the significance of a hard days work ...mentally and physically. I work every day for a wonderful doctor and also run a small subcontracting business. I love working and have no intention of retiring any time soon. As far as my past, who doesn't at 52? But my past is just that! I am looking forward to the future, enjoying the rest of my life with new experiences and adventure. I laugh every day..at something, someone or myself. What great medicine and it’s free! A sense of humor is a must. It would be a rarity to find someone who has the same broad range of interest. First date stuff has a tendency to make us all nervous, but we have nothing to loose and if anything, a new friendship to gain. So if we've made it past the first minute of eye to eye... it would be fun to relax and enjoy the company. Although I'm the Mother of three wonderful young men, my nest has a tendency to be empty quite often. They will always be my priority as it should be but my life does not revolve around their every moment. But if they need me...they know I'm there.The dating scene at this age is no easy task and really...I'm not sure meeting someone in this manner is the way to go but it's inevitable. Our social options are limited and this is what everyone seems to rely on. I prefer to date a man taller than I. This is not a slam, just a preference. We all know the attraction from the get-go is important. If it's mutual...we'll know.     I am a Chef and love what I do. I found the perfect balance with my new gig so that I don't have to work nights or weekends! How great is that!Just bought my first house all on my own and very proud of it!!     Happy, healthy redhead who is ready for fun! I work hard all week with a lot of responsibilities so weekends are important to me to relax and re-center my priorities. My kids are grown and successful, so I'd prefer to be with someone who doesn't have small kids living at home full-time. I'm well-educated, independent and open to new things.
