I am a very independent woman. I work very hard and I am usually off on the weekends. On my free time I like to spend it with my family and friends. I love to cook but grilling out is better. Active to me is a walk, bicycle ride, attending a festival, seeing a movie, going to a comedy show or rock or jazz concert, taking my dogs for a walk...anything that involves getting out, meeting new people, and having a good conversation. :) I don't sky dive, bungee jump, or ride roller coasters. :)I believe that in order for a relationship to be successful, the two people must embrace each other just as they are. We all have faults. But the trick is to be able to accept the person just as he/she is, faults and all. I'm not looking to change anyone or smother anyone, and I'm not looking for anyone to change me. If there is a laundry list of things you don't like about me, I'm not the woman for you and the same holds true for me about you. I don't smoke and I am not looking to date a smoker, trying to quit, occasional, or constant. (No offense, but I'm a former smoker and I think I'm true to that old adage...former smokers make the most intolerant nonsmokers.) I eat a fairly healthy diet. I'm looking for a confident man who is generally happy with his life. I would love a strong shoulder to rest my head upon occasionally. I'm looking for the man that will make me yearn for him and miss him as soon as we part. I'm looking to date someone steadily to see if it can deepen and develop into something special and magical. That is, of course, unless you sweep me off of my feet while I'm not looking! If that happens, all bets are off! **** Anything that involves great conversation peppered with plenty of laughter.
