Hi, Thanks for reading a little about me....: I am a very driven,independent, fun-loving, confident,lady. I really do not take myself that seriously, life is way too short. I am so blessed that I come from a great family, I grew up as a tomboy in a neighborhood full of boys and raised by my Dad . We lived on the 10th hole of a golf course, so golf has always been a big part of my life. My Dad was a huge sports fan, thus I love sports of all kinds, love college sports the best ( The Buckeyes)! I do love the Bears, the Cubbies, the Blackhawks, the Bulls and sometimes even the Sox. Although I grew up as a tomboy, I am nothing but lady. I can easily take off my baseball cap and fit into my little black dress and I enjoy being very feminine. I embrace the person I have become and don't really sweat the little stuff. I have two teenagers who still like me, and sometimes even spend a little time with me. They are my priority. I am finding now that I have much more time than I use to. I have a great job that I can work way too much at. I work out , I run,( I am a slow runner) and bike. Working out really helps me not only physically but also mentally. About what I am looking for: I am looking for a gentleman who is very confident. I like someone who also has a good work ethic and understands the importance of family and good friends. A great guy who enjoys life and wants to laugh a lot. I am good material for someone, in fact, I crack myself up all the time! I love sports and they must be able to watch a good college football or basketball game with me. I don't want to be in control or be controlled. I like honesty and integrity. Hi, First off, thank you for taking the time to check me out. I am a one man woman. I believe in getting to know a person from the inside out, not the other way around. Beauty is skin deep but a true heart is there to stay. Don't judge a book by its cover, of you don't take time to read a couple of chapters, you might pass the best book you've ever read. The first date is always shakey and scary. Niether really know what to say or do. A nice dinner where you can talk about anything that interests you to break the ice is great. Maybe long phone conversations if there is a hint of a spark, talking is a good start. If you can carry on a conversation that can make us both laugh, then things will be a good start. I have been divorced since 95, been in 2 long relationships since but they did not work for good reasons. It takes two to make a relationship work and it has to be worked on each and everyday, it cannot be onesided. All I ask is that you be honest. Honest to me but more importantly, honest to yourself because I am not going to just "settle" because I might think there isn't someone out there that is that RIGHT person for me! I know there is that very special man out there that will take my breath away!

Wow,Here we go on this roller coaster called Life! Things are starting to settle down for me so I feel its time to be thinking about Me and what I might like to be doing for the next few yrs. I am a very out going person and I love to laugh and I tend to look at things as the glass is ***full, or I'm Almost there!Things that make me smile are my family,my pets and my achomplishments in my Life.I love working with my hands weather it be in my yard, sewing doing crafts or cooking.I love to cook and I love trying new recipes out. Some even are edible.My Mac & Cheese is to die for so my kids tell me:)I have a real good friend who helpes me out when I need major things done around my house and he always has me helping along with him.It is amazing the things My daughter and I have learned to do from putting down a pergo floor to bleeding the furnace to restart in the freezing winter!I am always out to leartn some thing new.I try to have possitive people around me to enrich my life and to keep me sane! I like to do things to help in my community and I volunteer when I can. I am a Lion in our community and also work with a local youth group.
