My favorite time at the beach is late afternoon into early evening when the sun sets and the sky turns to muted colors of blue, purple, pink and gold. I love my fishing trips at the shore or the lakes with my sons. I am a true optimist; very much a glass half full person. And that’s how I feel about my life right now. I’ve had a great life so far, and I expect good things, including finding my soulmate, in the future. Regrets..…I can’t think of any. I choose to think of things in the past that didn’t go well as learning opportunities, not misfortunes or regrets.I love music and I enjoy dancing. I will listen to a variety of genres, although most of the time my radio is tuned to the top 40, a preference I learned from my daughter. Top 40 is totally off limits though if either of my sons are in the car..…then it’s only classic rock or county.So what am I looking for in a partner? I like a man who is confident, positive, polite, funny and who takes the lead. I am very passionate and loving. I must confess that I am a true romantic and nothing excites me more than a great, passionate kiss. Living a healthy lifestyle is important to me. I enjoy cooking meals together or going to a restaurant. I like to exercise a couple times a week as part of my routine. The aroma of a great cup of coffee just starts anything off right I think. I made it heresooner than I thought...early again, as always. I place my order for a non-fat caramel latte, extra pump of carameland wait. I spot a nice little table in the corner of this quaint little coffeehouse with a great view of the door andoutside. I sit down and begin to laugh. I can't believe I am doing this, I think. A new experience! Hopefully, itwill be a great one.I check the time. Deciding to take a quick glance in the mirror, like all girls do, I head to the ladies room. I don't wear a lot of lipstick but my friends insisted that I do so here goes the touch up. Okay, I am allready but a little nervous I must admit. A brand new adventure. Maybe a new friend? Sure hope so.Every good relationship should start with friendship don't you think? Here comes someone in now, wonder if it is you? He is looking around, moving towards me, our eyes meet.I smile and stand. He walks by me.... Not really lol. It is you! You sit down and we chat. You seem verynice... I think its going to be a large cup of coffee meeting and maybe a refill :)Well, after two hours of chatting on everything under the sun, we decide to take it to another level.Dinner next week with sangria! I have three children. My daughter graduated from college two years ago. She is off on her own now. My boys are 19 and 20 and they still live at home with me. My youngest son just graduated from high school. He will be heading off to college this fall. My older son is working with his dad. I used to keep very busy attending their sporting events: football, basketball, and soccer. Now, I don't know what I will do!! I enjoy spending time with my very large family and I have a great circle of friends. I also have two dogs so, a dog lover would be nice. I like cats but I am allergic to them. I enjoy watching or playing most sports. I played soccer in high school and college. I still try to play indoor soccer once a week. I enjoy reading, watching movies, playing card games, and going on walks. I like going down by the water, listening to bands or having bon fires and cook outs with friends and family. I am open to trying new activities. My favorite vacation spot is the beach. I would like to retire in a cottage on or close to the beach. Walks on the beach everyday sounds really nice. I am looking for a kind, considerate, affectionate, and caring person. I am looking for a person with none of the major stoppers (drug abuse, alcholism, etc) I want to fall in love and feel that special connection. Best friends, we enjoy each others company, enjoy family and friends but we also can't wait to be alone! I am in no rush to get married again but would like to find someone to go out with.
