Where do I begin to tell a story!!! LOL A story, that is what these websites are about,wouldnt you agree, how to write the best story to attract the best fish. Now sometimes these fish can write a good story but their really just stinkers. LOL Iam widowed 5 yrs. Some men ive found are threatened by that word Widowed, I even found after a lovely luncheon date that, the word widow he decided he didnt want to date us women he wanted a woman that had been in as bad a relationship as he. So He Would Look Better To Them, honest to God that is what he told me. Bout laughed my butt off on that one. So in telling you that Story I will say, Yes Iam Widowed, Yes I loved my husband for 35 yrs, and Yes Iam a better Woman for havin loved and lost than to never really trully Loved at all. I wont apologize for that life, I have 2 beautiful grown children and 3 grandchildren. But I will tell you iam nothing if not a realist. Men my late husband is dead there is no bringin that back. Iam not in love with a dead man. I loved someone dearly but iam alone now in this great big world and believe with all my heart that i wouldnt have been left here alone if there wasnt a man out there that needed and wanted to be loved by this woman. I love deeply and completely, and really that is all i want. Iam not afraid of a man that has been widowed, or divorced I realize we all have some kind of baggage, other wise we wouldnt be here looking for someone. So if you like my pic and think I would be a good lay, i assure i am. But dont bother to converse with me if that's all you want. See I picked Wanting a Relationship, looking for a lifetime partner, were really too old to play these games. So be honest and choose to talk to me because yes you like my pic but more importantly you like what i have to say, and first thought when you read is Wow she seems to be a genuine person, gosh with a heart and feelings. There is always hope, love and desire in my heart that someone exist out there for me.If you dont have a sense of humor, then there is nothing to laugh about and if there is nothing to laugh about then i will be laughing alone. I love to laugh, cut up, tickle, cuddle, snuggle, and yeah corny as it may sound walk on the beach hand in hand, or lay on a blanket and watch the stars with someone special, to talk about how your day was as well as mine. One of the most special times of the day is in the morning when i wake and you are there, or the phone rings and it is you just to say I wanted to hear your voice, sitting across the table from you after finishing a meal and see you smile at me, lying on the couch watching a great show or boring movie just feeling your arms around me and then there is that time of the day when i rest in your arms after a wonderful time of making love with only you and you whisper goodnight my love. First Date it says is (optional) Well its kinda mandatory isnt it....lol It doesnt really matter where we go on a first date or even what we do. All that matters is Its a start a potential beginning, even though it may only be one time. I believe that any first date i go on is a learning experience, its a means to a beginning or in some cases an end. But you gotta start somewhere to get to where your going. Right.     It's a beautiful day and time to enjoy some simple pleasures, smile and laugh a little. A quiet morning cup of coffee, enjoying the view as the mist rises off the water... The water is clear, cool and so tempting to just dip a few toes or get totally soaked - blue jeans and all! In my world, the bugs don't bite and the fish do (not my toes - just the fishing bait/lure).A paint brush in my hand...something about it feels right. A 2.5" angled brush will make a fresh newly painted wall...a flat, filbert, round or detail brush will help make a work of art. I have done a few I'm proud of like pet portraits of my children's dogs...and the sail boat I put on this site. I have a few in-progress paintings on my easels now and try to paint in the evenings. Thus, I appreciate art and art exhibits.I've been in my house over 15 months now, it was a forclosure and needed work - I needed a project, so it was a VERY good match! I'm pretty handy around the house - electrical, plumbing, drywall, tile (floors and countertops) etc... Why pay for something I can do myself! The kitchen was gutted down to the studs and at this point is done except for wood trim and curtains.Regardless of what I can do, I am a lady and I appreciate a thoughtful man who smiles easily, opens doors and is willing to at least slow dance. If you can country line dance and do a two-step that would be awesome! I'm out of practice and have done very little two-stepping. :) Hopefully you like spending time outside...walking/hiking in the woods, photography, camping, boating and such. My life does not revolve around sports, I would rather be doing than watching... If I am watching TV, there will probably be knitting in my lap or something else.I am debt free, except for my house, and have a good job. I am not wealty, just comfortable... If I was after money, I would have kept the retired one with two million in the bank (after his divorce) or the one making over $100,***a year.Precious (fish bait) and (high) Jack are my little dogs...6 and 3 pounds repectively. They own two parakeets.What else...I'm not sure quite what to say...so you can ask me if you want to know. I might even tell you. ;)If you don't have a picture, or your NOT smiling in some of your pictures - chances are good I won't reply. I'm looking for the right 'smile'! A quite evening to talk...maybe a walk...to get to know each other and see if there may be a mutual spark.

    Isn't it amazing to think that we can have everything we need and still feel as though something is missing? This woman has lived a very full life, has a challenging job, a house that I moved into three years ago and am still trying to make a home (it's so different without other people here), and two awesome dogs that are always happy to see me. I am an artist at heart, and my studio is the center of my home (though not my full time profession...I'm in property management). An artist's home is her masterpiece, and I have spent a lot of time refurbishing, decorating and working in the yard. Throughout my life I've explored a wide range of activities. I used to do a lot of camping, enjoy boating, and have recently taken Tango lessons. Music has always been a part of my life (piano lessons from an early age) and I'm still trying to teach myself to play the guitar. I bought myself a bicycle over the summer to ride through the local bike trails and parks (would be nice to have someone to ride with). Keeping myself in shape is important to me.For the man who is reading this, I appreciate intelligence, compassion, a healthy sense of humor and intuition. Having been single for five years now, I have met a lot of guys, dated a few of them, remained friends with a couple of them, and even ran from a few! Experiencing new activities can be fun, and meeting new people can be exciting... but I know where I'm most comfortable... in the arms of someone I trust. On a typical week night I'm curled up on the sofa next to the fireplace, or working on a painting, or painting a room! On a typical weekend night, I could be out listening to Country Music, or Jazz, or Classic Rock, or at home playing classical. I've reached most of the goals that I've set for myself... but I haven't had the relationship that I've always wanted... maybe being on this site will change that. Maybe not. Let's find out! The first "date" is really just an introduction. It's the second date (if there is one) that should be mutually decided. It might include food, some activity to keep the boredom at bay if the conversation lags, and should be memorable.
