Hi there, thank you for your interest. I am a fairly active person and I work out regularly. I had been self employed for the last 17 years and I had recently sold my buisness. I took the opportunity to travel and relax a bit as I was not intending to retire. I did want some change in what I had been doing so it is a bit of an exciting time in my life. I have found a job in a totally different line of work which has kept my interest . I am not quite sure what the future holds but I seem to be doing just fine . I would like to find someone special to share the moments with , as it does get a little lonely on my own sometimes . Most of you will know what i mean . Ok alone but ..I am interested in finding someone who is down to earth , witty, smart, kind, honest,funny and pretty much takes things as they are. Someone who does not sweat the small stuff. This is not a shopping list but some qualities I admire and enjoy in people. I have been single for quite some time and have dated some great people, but it would be nice to find someone special to share my time with. I love to laugh , travel ,be active and have adventures . I enjoy boating of all kinds and I do own a kayak which I use. I can dress up or down , depending on the occasion and I enjoy myself most places I go. I like to dance. I have also been told I am stubborn ( Irish ancestors) but I have always thought that was positive. Hmmm? I have also been told I am a good sport which I believe is very true. I am generally a quiet person until I get to know someone. I like to laugh and make others laugh. Life is too short to frown. I work in healthcare and really like my work, I have met some great people and heard lots of interesting stories through my work. I like to chat over a good coffee;-favorite) like the local newspaper to keep up on what's going on; like to swim and long walks(not marathons). As far as music goes I prefer oldies. I enjoy living here but eventually will move back to the east coast, until then it would be nice to meet someone to go places with. There is so much going on in this city and it would be great to take part in some of it. It would be nice to go for a coffee and chat--if the weather is nice then sitting outside would be great; or perhaps a movie and then chat about what we liked or didn't.
