I'm a serious career woman who has a goofy side that likes to have fun too. I'm outgoing and have a good sense of humor. Separated end of December and divorce was finalized July 10, ***. Just trying to meet new like minded people for fun socializing. I'm not looking to rush into anything and hope that those who are interested can be patient with me given I am recently out of a 20 year relationship and surely am out of practice.Other notable information:1. I am really 5 foot ***inches but meetville does not allow halfsies for height.2. I am not a cook. Sure I microwave, and cook a few things, but one should not expect great cooking from me.3.4. Typically friends and co-workers would say I'm an intelligent person, but they all know I am navigationally impaired despite that. Even when using the GPS I have been known to get lost (my friends and co-workers raze me about this often).5. I like people and their stories.6. I dislike traditional exercise and have only managed to be good at it when I can think of it as fun and not exercising. Examples for me are walking, bicycling, roller skating, tennis, and soccer (one year - but i might go back to it).. But I must admit I don't do any of them consistently enough except walking. Striving to do better.7. I have respect for a lot of religions. I was raised as a protestant, but admittedly I have not been active with a church in years.8. I love the way the beach looks and like walking there, but just not into sitting out in the sun out by the pool or the beach when it is ***degrees! I love doing it during the winter in S.9. I am disappointed when we assume the worst in another human without really knowing the real facts. We all do it and I strive to always assume the best, but perfect I am not.10. I have about a dozen pair of readers tucked away at home and the office because of the realization that my arms are no longer long enough.11. Some of my bad habits I should try to ditch are too much salt, diet cokes and chewing ice. 12. If your tall though, don't let the mini concern you. It's been successfully tested by 6 foot 5 inch individuals and confirmed as an okay fit for even a tall person. If you're over 6'5" we'll take your car. :***.14. I am not a fan of reality TV for the most part. Big Bang Theory, House or Person of Interest might get me to stop in front of the TV, but it would never be the end of the world if I missed any television show.15. I love staying busy doing fun and interesting things with other people. I prefer to be a participant in life verses just an observer.16. I love doing the unexpected to help someone or to make them smile. It makes them feel good but more importantly it helps me feel like a good person. ““Any venue where you can hear one another and have time to get to know one another a little better is good.     I'm able to describe what I DON'T want in a man. Not interested in a man with a comb over, long grey ponytail, shuffles when he walks, wears his pants up to his chest, can no longer move his neck, loves opera and elevator music, bed time is 9:00 pm with nothing to drink after 5:00 pm, has to reassure me they are "hip" and "with it", can't get their wardrobe out of the 70's as well as their hair, is an introvert, can't text because the "typewriter" keys are too small...I'm just not going there!There are some characteristics I would prefer in a man. I'm not impressed by trying to impress me with the finest dining, the best clubs, freak'n opera, your many tuxedos, etc. I gave up my designer clothes and stilettos...I'm pretty content with casual and would prefer to keep it that way!...we are talking first date! I'm very simple...Hanging at the pool to keep up the tan lines, a little swim, great conversation with, hopefully, great humor, maybe a drink or two. I think that's how you get to know someone...keep it simple.
