About Me

I am really shy at first, but once I know someone I really open up. I am self motivated and hard working. I'm really happy with where I am in my life, but would like to find someone to share it with. I'm a very independent person and I try not to let others hold me back. During the summer I like to spend as much time outside as possible, usually walking or biking with my dog, Mia. On the weekends I enjoy going camping and kayaking. Winter is my favorite season and I try to snowmobile as much as possible; I also enjoy downhill skiing. As much as I like being outside I don't mind curling up on the couch and reading a book or watching TV. I also enjoy quilting and cross-stitching. They are both old fashion, but are a great way to relax at the end of a long day. My family is also really important to me and I try to spend as much time with them as I can. I'm looking for someone who is motivated and has goals they are actively working to achieve. Someone who can be an equal with me and doesn't expect me to do everything in the relationship; I don't believe in gender rolls at all. I also want someone who accepts me for who I am and doesn't want to change everything about me, as I don't except anyone to change to for me.
