First off, this is really starting to piss me off. Every single guy has decided it's cool to have facial hair these days. Let me tell you, it isn't. If you have so much facial hair that I can't see your actual face, don't bother messaging me because it's impossible to tell if you're cute or not. I'm not a fan of too much facial hair anyway, but on a website where you rely on pictures to meet people, it's not a great idea to look like mountain man. Having said that, here's a little bit about me. I'm a divorced single mother of one daughter. I'm funny, loyal, honest, very interesting, and fun to be around, but that's about all I can say for now, my personality doesn't fit into a box. I love to party, but I'm just as happy staying home. I'm also very laid back and love to try new things. I'm blunt, and if I have a strong opinion I have no problem making it known, as you can see. I'm a very complex person, and I've done a lot of things with my life, so I'm looking for a mature man with his sh*t together. I want something real, it's been too long since I've had someone who made me feel complete. something not lame.

My self-summary: I\'m proud of who I\'m and of what I have accomplished thus far in my life. That said, I have big plans for my future. I\'m looking for the one I want to run home to for the rest of my life.

First off, I am from the country. I love the country but I have high standards. I'm not looking for a "country boy" that can't find his way out of a shoebox. I want someone with smarts, a sense of humor, and a respect for things that are different from him. (ie: religious beliefs, societal standards, etc)I am in process of accomplishing one of my biggest goals: graduating college (which will be in 1 and ***years).’m in a new major called Animal Studies and minoring in English. I plan to go to IUPUI to get my Master's degree in Library Sciences (yes, I want to be a librarian...what can I say, I love books). I also plan on getting my certification to be a wildlife rehabilitator, as well as being a Martial Arts ***, I’m in martial arts, I received my first degree black belt on July 2nd, ***. I am also in the SCA (if you don’t know what that is, look it up at sca.org). It’s basically hardcore armor fighting. It’s awesome and I’ve come home with some pretty epic bruises.Hobbies…I don’t really have any. The things I do to pass the time are more like things I feel I need to do to feel fulfilled. I love to do martial arts, and SCA fight. Those are some of the most important activities I do. The biggest reason for that is it's something my martial arts family does together...we bond on the field. I also write…not much. I can read for hours on end, if left alone. My iPod holds everything from classical to Avenged Sevenfold, to John Barrowman. My favorite shows are pretty much Doctor Who, Torchwood, NCIS, Criminal Minds, and CSI…in that order. I also love the outdoors, camping, hiking, thunderstorms, and especially nighttime. As far as my personality, I’m not afraid to get hurt and believe I can hold my own when it counts. I’m very odd/sarcastic and most people don’t get my humor or reasoning. When I look at poetry, I see a dead rose as a dead rose, NOT a reflection of the author’s soul or mental/emotional state. I’m a literal person sometimes. I'm also kind of crazy/hyper, but not until you get to know me. I love quiet places and being alone, and I don’t do too well in crowds (don't ask me how I manage to cope in battle). I’m not claustrophobic but I like my personal space and appreciate it when everyone stays out of it, unless specifically permitted. I'm also a hugger, meaning if I see someone I know, you can bet I’m going to run up and hug him/her.I don’t play emotional games and I'm not going to change beliefs or myself for anyone. I’; I won’t take being put down, and I am a bit hardhearted and unsympathetic at times. Obviously, I'm honest and up-front about things.I won’t tolerate a cheater, liar, or thief; let alone a jealous or abusive man. My friends and family were here first…they matter more and I’ll never give them up. I don’t like men who drink and get belligerent (I'm not holding your head when you puke, it’s your own fault you got that way); nor those who do drugs.Any more questions?--Heather It's really depending on what's going on and who I'm with. Everyone is different and therefore their tastes would be different. But, I'd rather be outside any day.
