My biggest hobby is anything that will tell me a story. Books, television, movies, comic books, theatre - I especially love audiobooks and the soundtracks to good musicals, so I can get my story while I'm doing other things. I have one cat, extremely furry and very affectionate. I'm currently studying for my BoA, but my long-term goal is to become a teacher.In my free time I'm occasionally a lousy artist. I believe that anything you enjoy is worth doing for its own sake, even if you aren't any good at it - as long as you don't force the results on the rest of the world. For a first date I like to do something fun like mini golf or bowling, and then follow up with a snack or a coffee. I feel awkward sitting down to dinner or a movie with a stranger and nothing but small talk to say.

    Like many of you I am new to this whole sell yourself routine. I'll try to keep it short and ramble free as I have been known to ramble from time to time. :)I've now passed the one year mark of living in Kelowna and I am loving life here.
