About Me

I am quiet,but open up with people I get to know really well, and then I am hilarious. I have a dry sense of humor, I find random things REALLY funny and sometimes laugh about little things for days. I want to find someone who can appreciate this and who can make me laugh until I can't breathe. I have two bachelor's degrees - I am a registered nurse and a certified elementary school teacher. I work hard, value education and really enjoy helping others. I love children (why I became a teacher) but am currently working as a nurse with the elderly - they are just as cute as children :) I hope to teach and be a nurse at some point in the future, and would love to be a school nurse someday.I am very girly, love the ocean, and find the beauty in everyday things; I find it so peaceful and relaxing just staring at the ocean or the night sky, or watching a thunderstorm or a blizzard or the leaves falling in autumn. I'm open to different kinds of music and listen to what I think sounds good, I really don't care what other people think about it. Yes, I like movies - duh. My favorite pastime would have to be taking my puppy for a walk. He is truly my best buddy - we are a package deal :)I believe in chivalry and think that respect is very important. I am looking for something real, no hookups and I am no one's backup plan. I am not a super-model or star athlete or movie-star, but I am a nice girl. I have high standards and I would like to find someone who shares the same values for themselves and whoever they are with.     I'm told by many that I'm very different from most people, but in a good way. Im extremely honest- I'm usually the person to say what everyone else is thinking. I'm very laid back, very rarely get mad, never get jealous or offended, and I'm also told I tell the best/funniest stories. Every Monday when I go into work everyone wants to know what crazy shenanigans I got into over the weekend because for some reason I find myself stumbling into hilarious/crazy situations often. Yet I'm not the type of person who rushes into a relationship by any means... I like to let things happen naturally. Some fun/funny facts about myself:***don't laugh) I did competitive jump roping for 6 years and placed 3rd in the country. (again don't laugh! youtube "single rope freestyle"... I can guarantee you'll be blown away haha***I was a DJ for 7 years... no I didn't spin records, I'm not that cool. I did mostly weddings. It was hell actually. Just forget this fun fact. 3- I have a younger brother with Autism.4- I pooped my pants when I was 18.5- You can laugh at fact number 4... I laughed too when it happened.6- I work out with a trainer ***days a week. I also just took a huge interest in these different types of 5k's (color run, cosmic run***I LOVE politics. I'm a republican and proud of it. Okay so the fact that I even have to put this is ridiculous to me, BUT, I'm most likely not going to respond to you if you just say "hey" or "what's up gorgeous" or "insert your own boring, generic, corny, pick-up liney phrase here". I plenty of material in my profile to feed off of. Also, if you don't know the difference between "there" "their," and "they're" which would imply you should be able to hold an intelligent conversation then just don't message me.
