I'm a firm believer in the fact that if you're happy, it makes other around you happy as well. Why waste time being sad and lonely? Live life to the fullest and don't worry about what tomorrow will bring Family is really important to me. My dad traveled a lot when I was younger so my mom and I have always been really close. If you get mom's seal of approval, you're golden :) I love learning about new cultures and meeting all types of people. I grew up in a small town for the first 17 years of my life, so going to college in DC was a big change for me. Being in such a diverse city really influenced my views on life. I was a very conservative Christian girl because that's the only thing I knew before college. I still am a Jesus worshipping, church going girl, but I am definitely more accepting of others because of the education on life that I received in college. Right now I'm really interested in Asian cultures, specifically Korean. I love listening to Korean pop music and watching Korean dramas. I'm actually teaching myself the Korean language as well.

Woman. 22 years old. Zodiac sign: Leo.
Looking for: man. In age: 19-29
I'm a very easy going person, and I try to keep life simple. I like to hang out with friends, play the piano, read, go out and do something... I don't mind sitting in at night and watching a movie, or going out and having a good time with friends. I'm working on my masters in teaching, and will graduate in May. I want to meet people. Whether that becomes a relationship or simply friends/dating, I'm open. I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking for in someone, but maybe that's simply because I haven't met the right person yet. My philosophy in life is Hakunamatata. As Atticus Finch would say, "It's not time to worry yet". I try to keep things uncomplicated. I like to say that you can learn everything about me in a day, yet still learn something new each day for a lifetime. (Simple, yet with depth.) My family is extremely important to me. I come from a strong background, and want something similar for myself whenever I eventually settle down. My faith is also important to me. I have a traditional mentality, meaning that, while I'm not a girly girl, I like when guys open the door for me, and I can appreciate a gentleman. I like to get out of the house and do things outside. I don't know a whole lot of outdoorsy people, so I don't often get the chance, but I love trying new things. If you read this and would like to chat sometime, send me a message. I'm game for something as fancy as getting dressed up and going to a nice restaurant, or something much simpler such as going out and doing something where we can get to know each other. I'm not a "go to the movies" first date person. I want to get to know the other person, not just sit quietly; not yet at least.

Woman. 24 years old. Zodiac sign: Aries.
Looking for: man. In age: 21-31
I am a full-time working mother to an adorable little boy. My son comes first in my life no matter what and when he is with me all of my attention is focused on him. Anybody that does not understand that needs to just walk the other way. I am tired of dealing with all the drama and immature guys who are just looking for the next party. I enjoy baseball, football, basketball, going 4- I like to be on the go most of the time but can also enjoy a relaxing evening at home on the couch. I like to cuddle and be held after a rough day. I will try almost anything at least once. I am always looking for the next adventure. I am a country girl who knows how to get down and dirty but I can also get all dressed up for a night out on the town. I am very outgoing and hardly ever meet a stranger. I live with my best friend and we do just about everything together. She has been there to listen to me cry, fuss, complain, laugh, and everything else in between. I wouldn't have made it through my separation without having her there by my side. She is "my person" I am a Grey's Anatomy fanatic and watch it every week. The perfect first date for me would be riding around in a lifted truck (preferably a Chevy) on back country roads and ending the evening with a picnic on the tailgate by the lake or in the middle of field, listening to country music, and just getting to know each other. Nothing fancy or high class. Just a good view of the country sunset and I will be a happy girl.
