Well this is new. Hi, I'm Abbie. I would say that I miss the ocean the most, of all the things I left behind. I enjoy swimming and riding my bicycle for exercise, and I'm almost always found with my nose in a book on my downtime. I'm shy when you first meet me, but once I'm comfortable with you, you'll find that I will frequently be ridiculous and 'weird'. I love to laugh, and will often make myself laugh when nothing else will. The majority of the television shows that I watch can be found on Space or the BBC, and my favourite movies are adaptions of comic books. I have a varied taste in music, and I don't like to preclude myself from something, just because of the genre. I like to watch the Canucks, but haven't watched much, since I decided not to get cable. I love my job, and I work hard at it. I will sometimes be there for 12 hour days when the situation calls for it, so meeting people during the week is difficult, since I can be rather exhausted after work. My aspirations are to one day run the lab.I have one piercing, and five tattoos at present. I am terrified of heights, but willing to try new experiences.
