About Me

So recently when ive tried this online dating thing its never worked out in my favor....Starting to wonder what am i doing wrong? am i not good enough? why do i get told that im the "perfect woman" but yet im still single?? I come across as the "firecracker" im VERY blunt and tell it like it is ..but when it comes to somebody i like/love i tend to let that person run all over me..Im tired of giving my all to someone and only getting 55% back. I ask myself should i change that? should i be cold hearted to men...NO i will not because reguardless of how many ***hole men are out there (ALOT) i will not change myself and punish the sincere man that will find me in my future i will not make him pay for another man's mistakes as i would not want to have to pay for another womans doings. I ask myself why not just give up....but i dont want to spend another day without him..life is way to short to not spend it with family/friends/and your lover.     I enjoy reading, writing, going to the movies, being outdoors, traveling, and being around my family and friends. I have one tattoo, which usually comes as a surprise to most people. My goals, long-term, would be to have settled down and starting my own family and to be working with children who have special needs. In order to complete the second half of my goal, it would require me going back to school within the next couple of years, but that is something I'm willing to do. Right now though, I've just finished the Early Childhood Education program at Humber College last summer and am now currently enjoying working with toddlers at a daycare. I can honestly say I'm one of those people who love their job. I'm not the clingy type of person, and I don't like being around clingy people. I have a strong sense of who I am, and I don't change that to alter to someone else's belief of who I should be or how I should act. I've been told that I'm old/mature for my age, and that I have a very nurturing personality. I listen to almost all types of music. If it sounds good, then I'll listen to it. I just don't like rap, and though country isn't my favourite, I will admit that some of it's not bad.I am a strong believer in the fact that if something is meant to happen then it will. Everything happens for a reason. My ideal first date would probably be to go out to dinner or a walk through the park, rather than a movie, where it would be possible to talk and get to know one another. I find this is better than sitting in a movie theatre where you can't speak to one another.
