About Me

New Stuff as of ***Well, I have had some time to think about what to write here and it's been driving me crazy. After reading lots and lots profiles I have come to conclusion that I don't have a clue what women want. *sigh* So after careful consideration, I have decided to be completely honest. I know, kinda weird for a guys profile but all is true in the words you will read below. And no shirtless selfies in the bathroom mirror. Here goes;I am a gentleman who is looking for someone to spend the rest of my life with. My parents will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary next February so I have a real good idea of what a long term relationship takes. Now you're saying "Oh really Mr. smart guy?? Why aren't you in a relationship or why haven't you kept the one's you've had?" Good questions. I could say that the women I have been with decided that they were not ready or were taken away from me (long story) or I haven't found the right one... whatever the reason, I don't have an answer. It is what is and here I am spilling my guts. I don't have a six pack abs or a washboard stomach but I feel good about myself. I would jump at the opportunity to be more active with the one I am with whether it's hiking, walking, tennis, golf and yoga would be fun to get into as well. As far as going out, not really into the club scene but I do like to go out to dinner and drinks on occasion. Sushi is one of my favorites but I do like to try new things when I go out. I like roller coasters and I still go sailing with my father from time to time.Now the big thing that seems to turn many women off. I am working part time while I am going to school. I am going to City College to gain knowledge and better myself so that I can find a better career. I am NOT looking for a woman to support me, I can do that myself thank you very much. I tell you this now to save you the time and effort of sending *** to find this out later. God forbid after several *** find out what I do you don't want to *** That should weed out a few. I like kids but do not have any of my own and I feel I would be a good role model to children. I wish I did have the opportunity but I have a feeling that my time is running out of having any of my own offspring but you never know. That makes me a little sad yet hopeful. I have watched my nieces and nephews grow up to be young adults and they have always said that they were happy that I am in their life. I was actually at the hospital the day one of my nephews was born and it was amazing seeing him all brand new. My sister has told me that her kids feel I was like a second dad for her kids. As you can see, my family is very close and we stay in constant contact. Christmas at my parents house is always the best of times with zero arguing or screaming. We do have disagreements as my father is a staunch Republican and my brother is tree hugging liberal but they are just good discussions. Me? I fall somewhere in the middle and we'll just leave it that for now. I am not religious but believe in karma and doing good for all. I am a big fan of dogs, cats, horses (I haven't been riding in a long time. Always fun) and all animals. All in all I am a well rounded and nice guy with lots of information floating around my head (Albatross sleeps while flying). I know how to be romantic. I know how to cook as I make Christmas Eve dinner every year (Oyster stew and cheese fondue). I can work on cars and in and around the house. I can build a desktop computer from parts and usually solve software problems. That's the main reason I am back in school, training for a network administrator position.I am not here for one night stands and I am not a player (I still have no idea what a player is). I want to meet a woman to cuddle with on rainy days and walk hand in hand with on sunny days. To explore new places and to revisit old favorites. And if you want to watch the Lakers, Dodgers, or Raiders with me, that would be cool too but I certainly wouldn't expect it. :-) It all comes down down to if you like the picture and are attracted to the person in it.     Its alway tough describing your self but lets give it a shot.
