About Me

I LOVE the mountains and everything about them! I love hiking, boating, the vibrant colors of fall, snow tubing, bon fires. I hope to someday retire there. I try to stay very active. (can't hit a moving target) and I am not the type of person who likes to stay in and watch T.V. I played all sports as a kid and loved coaching baseball, basketball and soccer for my 3 boys but I haven't watched a game on T.V. ever! Even the Superbowl or World Series! I can only think of one thing more fun;) I love motorcycles and long rides with no destination.I believe in always opening the door for a woman and if it is raining, she should wait in the lobby of the restaurant while I go get the car.(unless its warm out and she feels like kissing in the rain!) I am financially and emotionally stable. I have had the same AWESOME job for the last 28 years and almost every day I love it. I also have a successful Home Repair and Remodeling side business. I wake up happy and sing silly songs to my dog. (She loves it) I would probably sing silly songs to you, too. Just warning you. I am a people person and love talking to new people, learning all about them, their families, where they are from. More than once I have been asked "What, are you writing a book?". I am upfront, honest and have very strong beliefs in right and wrong and sometimes that gets me in trouble. I have been described as an eternal optimist and a man with integrity.I don't pretend to be something I'm not because I'm happy with who I am. After all these years I am still a work in progress. As my profile says, I am separated.It is unfortunate and we are both good people but just not meant to be together.We do not live together.     Easier said than done but here goes. Im 49 and separated with divorce pending. Wait! Read a little more! I work as a production scheduler for a large book manufacturing facility. I dont know that any of the abbreviations one sees on this type of site apply e.g. DD, bbw, etc. because to tell the truth I dont understand most of them and dont recognize the need to, so to be short and sweet I take care of myself, i dont smoke only drink socially, and am therefore healthy and usually happy.I'm a grown up and self sufficient, I can re model a house and make it a home, I'm a great dad.
