About Me

My glass is at least ***full! I have a great career with a great company in a great city. My primary hobbies right now are jogging ***Xs p/wk), hiking (1X p/wk) and supporting my sons in their endeavors (school, scouts, soccer and swimming). They are 11 and 16 and live with their mother in TN. I talk with them every night and see them every 3- They are good boys, make very good grades and I couldn't be more proud of them.***months. I'm very fortunate to have been blessed with 2 very good sons. Life is good! :-)I love to hike (I do Cowles Mtn almost every wkend). But if you've got another favorite hike I'm game. Iron Mtn and Elfin are next on my list. I work in an office so almost anything outdoors will get my vote. I'm a light to moderate drinker so if your idea of a good time is to get ripped, I'm not your guy. I'm from the South, I open doors for people, especially women, and I say "yes ma'am, no ma'am, thank you and please". Its just the way I was raised. So if you appreciate manners, the first date won't be time wasted. Beyond that we'll just have to see won't we.Separated for 2 years, divorced a year and a half ago. I don't feel the need to get married anytime soon, but I do want a long-term, committed and monogamous relationship. If you have kids that's great, hope you're as blessed with yours as I am with mine. My ex-wife and I co-parent well - no games or drama - I'm in TN when I need to be and there for my boys when they need me. Hope you and your ex (if you have one) get along. Its not always easy but worth the effort for the kids' sake.Otherwise, I'm good at my job which is how I got from TN to CA. I'm a lawyer by profession but work for a financial *** don't particularly care what you do for a living as long as you care about your work and are happy in it. Life is too short not to be happy - with who you are and who you're with. :-) Thanks for reading this and take care.PS - In the interest of full disclosure - I'm left-handed and right-handed (honest). I once taught a German Shepard to bark, in Mandarin Chinese. The police often stop and question me just because they find me interesting. I'm not "The Most Interesting Man in the World". I'm like . . . 7th. :-) An ideal first date would be to meet for coffee, tea, or frozen yogurt/ice cream if its been a good day. Or maybe a frozen margarita if its been a really good day. Ha! Preferably somewhere quaint, sort of quiet or at least quiet enough that we can here each other, since the object is to see if there's mutual interest, right?
