About Me

I really don't take myself to seriously.... I love to laugh. My personality is a big mystery. The best way to describe who I am, is to say, whose I am.....a child of God. Again who i am is not nearly as important as whose I am. Work is important to my life but I have a healthy balance of what I do with my down time. Being a Father to a six year old keeps my spirit young. I am here to see what is the possibility of meeting a friend. My second goal is as follows: i would enjoyfalling in love which then would evolve into an equal loving partnership.Who I am waiting for is pretty broad in the description but I believe she will be miraculously specific in her perfection to and for me. ... don't really have a type I look more for an expression of that person's inner peace and comfort with life. I am not big on small talk or materialism. If your into learning how to give and receive Love then we wil have an adventure. I was single until I was 38 so I am completely self sufficient in the areas of cooking, cleaning and other household responsibilities. I would love to find a partner, equal, a woman who understands what it is to be human- (flaws and all) and have enough grace to lovingly inspire greatness in this man. Ok maybe not greatness how about a steady progression to be better than I was yesterday. He is cute and easy to like so this will probally be the easiest part. Ok that is what I think I am looking for but this may all be wishful thinking or better yet it is my prayer. Really don't I will consult with the Master event planner first then I will know.     If your looking for a long term relationship great, but it seems alot of women are just on here to see if they still "got it".I am wonderful... Blah blah blah... I'm sure if your reading this every guy says the same thing! It's so cliche, so lets try real honesty! I am a guy, my first impression is what I see (yes very shallow), but it gets us to read your profile. I look for buzz words and yes I hate to say it but I've dated a few gals that were more interested in my checking account balance than me, yes we all want wonderful things in our lives but if I have to sell a kidney to afford your Christmas present it's not gonna work! If you have kids or a ex, you have some drama in your life. Sometimes it's ok to eat food that's bad for you, yes it's important to eat right but a dish of ice cream ain't gonna kill you. I don't judge others or care to be judged. Sometimes spending time apart is ok, we don't have to be connected at the hip. Yes I could or need to drop a few, I have gray hair, and a few scars, I guess you could call me seasoned. What can I say I have lived a great life with only a few regrets...Ok now the nice version. Honesty is so important, it's the foundation for true love. You can tell the truth without being so blunt it hurts someone you care about. I work hard and want the best for my partner, but not at the expense of our relationship. Money seems to cause fights if you are foolish with it. We all have baggage and scars in our lives, it's ok we have a past relationships and a history, but it is about the future that's why we are here. I am fortunate to get along with my ex-wife and have great kids. My 15 year old son lives with me, he is a gentleman and very respectful to others. I like to eat right but it's ok to indulge, I think it's natural to occasionally enjoy a guilty pleasure. I am passive but protective of others, I believe God gave each of us a purpose and we live our lives on how he intended and the best we know how. The last thing is trust each other, just knowing that when we are apart I will be thinking about you and looking forward to the next time i get yo see you. Just get to talk over coffee or a meal, maybe walk at the zoo. Really in the big picture I always consider the first date an interview for the second... Relax be ourselves we will know if everything clicks
