As a kid I used to get into all kinds of trouble for taking things apart. Now I don't get into trouble for it. I'm a gearhead, plain and simple. I strive to understand what makes things tick. I love learning how to do new things and because of this love, I've taught myself how to fix just about any thing. Fridge acting up? I can fix it. Car giving you fits? I can fix it........... As for people? well they are much harder to figure out. I say what I feel most times and don't like to waste time on useless games.I'm a very simple person, but don't mistake that for a lack of intelligence.I like to busy myself with any number of projects from my cars to my horrible golf game. I recently completed a 5 year long restoration of a Porsche 911. All work was performed by me from repairing the rust damaged areas to the complete interior as well as the bodywork and paint. Beware, though as you will need hearing protection in order to ride in it(I'm working on that though).My golf game sucks(30hdcp) but I still have a ball playing :D And I'm just as bad at bowling!Lately I've been thinking of getting another motorcycle and I justify it by telling myself it's for the fuel mileage......... Casual dinner, I been trying to broaden myself by experiencing new-to-me cuisine. A nice evening walk and good conversation.

I am at a point in my life where my children are grown, I am retired from my primary job and rejoined the work force to continue to help others. I enjoy a variety of different hobbies. I play drums in a local band, golf, boat, fish, ski, cook, travel, do home improvement projects. I value integrity, morality, and intelligence, I have lived a wonderful life so far and will continue down my chosen path. I believe that the best first dates can only be determined after determining each others' hobbies and interests. A best first date could be a short boat ride to a riverfront restaurant, or maybe a game of golf. perhaps a walk through a city market. First dates should be determined and mutually decided upon after a good communication pattern has been established.

A little about me; I am open minded, spontaneous, energetic,and Loyal. I enjoy being outside. I like water involved activities, rather its hanging on the beach or just cruising down the intercoastal on a boat. Don't mind a day offshore fishing either. I enjoy my time at the gym. It gives me a place to unwind the stresses of a day. Yet, I love to sit on the couch as well. I've been married only once, and it lasted 13 years. I enjoyed the friendship we shared and I am grateful for the children we have. I own an automotive business, so I pretty much can take anything apart and fix it from cars to washing machines. As for music, I lean towards jazz and old school rock. And yes,I do enjoy dancing. Although, I really don't enjoy the clubs that much anymore. Been there done that. But I do like to get once and a while. I have children all of them in their teens now. I also am a football coach for 11 & I believe that I treat people fairly, and I believe in karma. You get what YOU dish. I am a simple guy with simple needs, will love with all I am. But does not mean someone can just take advantage. Give and I will give, care and I will appericate. really not sure talking over dinner would be the best way to start off with someone. rather something casual and where we both would be comfortable. I think its important to meet on common ground. And I really prefer not to call it a first date, but more as a meeting of possibilities
