About Me

I'm not entirely sure finding a soul mate on this kind of site is even possible?It doesn't really feel a natural way of meeting somebody, but I guess we're all here to try. So not being one to judge a book by its cover will remain optimistic !! :-)So this is me - Pictures up to date - and does exactly what it says on the label.. Well almost ! :-)I am self sufficient, domesticated, fairly independent, and enjoy my life, but am missing that all important person to share it with..I consider myself lucky in that I have my own home, a job I enjoy, and am blessed with three wonderful children ***& 21 who make me proud to be there Dad.I enjoy good company, cinema, live concerts, eating out, drives and walks in the country, just as much as I do a cozy night in with a good film & a bottle of wine...Being a musician my influences & tastes in music are extensive, but I do have a particular love for the 80s and 90s and enjoy going out to watch a good live band.I like a dance, especially to some good old school club music & r n b.So if the occasion arises don't expect to leave me propping up the bar. I'm young at heart, competitive, like a challenge, and am told good fun to be around.I would describe myself as down to earth, easy going & level headed, but a typical saggitarian so I can be quite spontaneous and a spur of the moment person which helps keep the excitement in my life ! I do enjoy a bit of witty banter and can be cheeky with it, so bring it on ;-)I like to stay in shape and try to swim or get to the gym at least once a week, take pride in my appearance as I do in my home, and do like that in others also..I'm quite a practical person, have a good eye for design, enjoy Diy, and get a lot of satisfaction from being able to achieve the things I turn my hands to,Whether making a house a home, your birthday special, or Christmas magical :-)When funds permit I like to travel, and am just as happy skiing or boarding in the mountains, as I am laying on a hot beach, scuba diving, or exploring our different cultures.. I'm fairly broad minded, adventurous, and up for trying most things once.I am kind hearted, sincere, considerate, loyal and honest... I take people at face value and would expect the same in return.I would like to meet somebody like minded, but not identical in nature, As forming a relationship is very much about sharing and learning about each other, and not meeting someone as a finished product who is set in there ways..Someone who is prepared to share there life and has no hang ups about who they are.Who is also intelligent, adventurous, honest, thoughtful, caring, cheeky, romantic, and down to earth.Somebody who feels just as comfortable in a dress as they do a pair of jeans, who has morals, values, and self respect, and who isn't afraid of emotional intimacy.I know that I would like an amazing woman by my side, to feel proud of because we compliment and bring out the best in one aother.To share the laughter and tears, the highs and lows, and to be able to come through it all with something tangible, each other !Lastly id sooner chat on the phone than on here as I don't see the point in messaging back and forth to find a month down the line you didn't click and could have found out sooner.So if your still there and fancy a chat get in touch, life's too short not to say hi ;-)And please don't take it personally if I don't get back to you, but I'm not here just to date as many women as possible.If not at least give me a hit on You Tube Lol. roly***Happy Fishing : ) It's not so much what you do or where you go, but who you do it with that can make all the difference!So long as it's something your comfortable with in happy!

    Well here goes, this type of thing is new to me so please bare with me here. I'm 46yrs old and have been single a while now and i want to start meeting new friends, possibly more, so decided to follow a friends advice and give this place a go. I'm very lucky, i have 4 young boys who mean everything to me and will always be top of my list, they have a mum and not getting another.
