Hey! Thanks for checking out my profile I don't fit into any one category and have a few hats. I am athletic and enjoy the gym so I have a jock hat which kind of fit into my work hat, I worked for The Dept. of Corrections and have recently completed my 25th year and have retired. (Everyday is saturday) I was lucky enough to have progressed through the ranks (Captain) and enjoy financial security. My home has become my job and keeps me busy. My son is 21 and goes to school in the city and I dont get to see him as much as would like to. I miss him and if he is reading this, "dude, texting sucks, call your DAD." I am also part geek and thought about not mentioning it but I guess my DVD collection and DVR choices would give me away. Though I have never been to a convention or own any costumes or figurines(that's where you laugh), I do enjoy most sci-fi shows. I also enjoy most new series on HBO ,FX and SHO like boardwalk empire, SOA and game of thrones .I enjoy sporting events and like to watch baseball and football, I am a Giants and Mets fan and try to make to the stadiums a few times during the season weather permitting- Sounds like I watch TV all the time but I rely on the DVR and remember , everyday is Saturday. I like AC and it doesn't take much coaxing to get me there to contribute to paying the borgatas light bill. I enjoy the mall and never mind leaving with some new clothes. I enjoy the shore but don't really do the beach. I enjoy going to the movies and can compromise on the film since my default is always man movie.I love to go out to dinner!!! I was born Jewish but I really don't follow any organized religion. I believe that any explanation that doesn't include scientific facts is flawed and trying to explain the infinite is as difficult as teaching your dog to play Mozart. Now, I don't say this to offend, I am only giving my opinion ,so if you are very religious I am not the guy for you. I am culturally jewish and border line JAP and will spend ***dollars on a pair of jeans. I am looking for someone who shares some of my interests and also has interests she can share with me I have been around the block and no longer believe that opposites attract in the real world.( No matter how hard I try) I know it sounds cliche but i am looking for a friend and a partner. I am attracted to smart, funny and a little goofy more city than country. Someone who is career oriented, has an idea about current events the economy world events etc who can fit in most social events and hold her own in conversation. I would enjoy losing track of time because the company is so good.

I am a very outgoing down to earth guy that goes that extra mile for family friends and someone I truly care about. I like sports, traveling, movies the outdoors, cooking and yes even dancing even though it has been a while. I've been single for a little over 2 years now and I've not dated very much (by my choice) but think its time to give it a go again. I Rarely if ever drink, I don't smoke or do any type of drugs, I've never cheated or have ever had a one night stand, I'm not perfect but, I am who I am and I'm REAL. I also am a firm believer in Family values, morals, respect for one another s time and space to reflect on the days happening. I did work at the YMCA for 3 years as a sub for my sister, teaching young children growing fundamentals and I really enjoyed the time spent doing it. It's always great to make new friends and have people to talk to if that's all that comes of it... :)Oh and to add, I am trying to get back into shape again but its a work in progress... ;)And above all else, you have to be able to laugh at the little things in life and not dwell on the bad!!!I'm Looking for a woman who is down to earth and likes to have fun at all times and knows what she wants and doesn't play games. Also I am looking for strong character/integrity. Someone willing to go the distance by my side; life is hard/serious enough but when you find someone to make the journey with it's so much sweeter. You also must be able to be serious when it's time to be serious and know when it's time to laugh (especially at yourself).I firmly believe that I will meet the woman of my dreams someday, someone who I wake up to and become overwhelmed with joy at the sight of their beautiful smile and loving touch with whom I will share the rest of my life with... someone who every time i gaze upon her beauty my heart pounds and my stomach gets full of knots & butterflies... I want to be the last person to tell you "Good Night" as the moon arises and the first to say "Good Morning" when you wake to the morning sunlight. This woman is truly worth waiting for.. She will be beautiful inside and out, confident, great sense of humor, forgiving, giving, affectionate, passionate, full of joy, excited about life... committed, loyal, and deeply in love with me as I with her..... Something simple and comfortable for both, coffee/drinks with some good conversation and laughs while getting to know each other.....
