I love being outdoors. Whether I am spending time at the beach, hiking in the mountains, riding my bicycle, spending a day on the slopes, or just strolling along a river, I thrive in the great outdoors. Of course, I have urban pursuits as well. I like going to shows, concerts, and sporting events. Once in a while, it's nice to balance life with a quiet night at home.After college, I spent three years in Germany. There, I developed a love for travel and have seen most of Europe. Lately, I have continued my travels at more tropical destinations.I am an electrical engineer, and I love what I do for a living. I manage large construction projects and do a lot work-related travel. However, I work to live, not live to work. I want to get the most out of life and enjoy my leisure time as much as my career.I am an active person and am looking for an energetic person to share my time with. I can also be a quiet, contemplative person. I like to read, play chess, and do logic puzzles.I like all types of music, but the faster the beat, the more I like it. I enjoy a night of jazz or blues in a small club. I enjoy concerts in the park. I listen to contemporary rock and enjoy Irish punk music. But my favorite music is that which I grew up with, 70's and 80's rock and roll. I can't get enough! My ideal first date would be a day hike during the summer or a day on the slopes in winter. I would enjoy meeting at a park or a sports event. Or maybe just meeting for a drink and seeing where it goes from there. Be yourself, relax, lets have some fun!
