I like to think I am a down to earth kind of guy, other than that you will just have to ask to find out more, my personality is too complex to try to sum up in a few sentences! lolOr you can look at my interests to get an idea... Due to the urging of a friend I will add this... My ideal woman...Intelligence-1 that can put me in my "place" be it joking or with facts if I am wrong-smart enough to call me on things and talk intelligently about most general things. Imagination-a woman that can "see" things that do not exist yet-a deck we want to build or landscaping where there is none, an imagination that carries through the daily life to keep things fresh and surprising! An idea for the living room, a place to go, or just "livening up" our intimate life...Her body-not a beanpole that looks like a hat rack, or too many "extra pounds". I have to be able to interlock my fingers together behind her back (my mustache has a weight limit-..), a number of extra pounds is ok-just not 2 or 3 ppl worth-no "boobiedo"! I am an active person and to be out in the sun working on a 100* day is common, and most can't tolerate it... Also, my preference is 5' 6"), though that is not a deal breaker lol.Interests-have many (but not all) the same interests as I, enjoy History and Discovery Channels (but knows to limit my watching of such things-I have an addiction to them-worse than meth!), enjoy the outdoors to a large degree (maybe even working outside with me on a hot day?) Few of my interests are required, i.e. motorcycles...that is my "2 wheel therapy", if a woman likes to ride I actually prefer her to have her own bike though I have no problem riding with her as a passenger...it is not a lifestyle, just fun!Honesty and integrity-have both in abundance, even to a fault (if I ask you what you want for your birthday and you say nothing, you will probably get it in abundance! yes I am a guy...), "even little white lies" are lies...I don't lie-hell I have a hard enough time remembering the truth to try to remember any lies I might have told!Expectations of me-none, we just do what we can for each other and try to do our best... Just be spontaneous!

Ok...so I just turned 50. I know...insane. But there's no use hiding it. It is what it is. But I'm told I don't look my age at all. Maybe that's true, maybe not. I"ll let you decide. Ha ha. So here we go... I am looking for ONE special friend to laugh my ass off with, share great conversations, new experiences, and of course, eventually...some deep, soulfull kissing!! I want that natural, relaxed, unforced, genuine comfort that two lovers have. One where we can enjoy each other without having to be "on". Does that make sense? Ultimately I am looking for someone who is pretty cool, sexy, silly, happy, intelligent :-),open minded and GENUINE!***I'm going to copy my profile from another site that I'm on. It's a bit long, but it is a fair and true slice of who I am and what I am looking for.Have you ever seen the movie "Groundhog Day"? That's how I feel right now as I'm updating my profile. It seems that I've been in this exact spot just yesterday. *** Argh!!!Facts: I'm 5'10 and 3/4, ***pounds, great sense of humor. Oh, and since I have more characters to use...I'm an ex New Yorker! Oh yeah...one more thing...I just turned 50...shhh...don't tell anyone, it'll be our little secret. Hey 50 is the new 40 right? Whatever! My goal: To find a partner to write the next 50 chapters of our lives. I am so over being single and would love to never again be on a dating site.I’m really good at: Hmm, let's see...in no particular order...kissing, doodling, and math. Yeah, that's all I got. Well wait..actually I'm pretty good at writing songs and then forgetting the tune entirely which then leaves me with poems. So yeah, I am a poet. Here is my latest. Wrote it very late one night. It took me about 10 minutes. Yep...what can I say...I'm a friggin' genius. :-DThis is a poem I wrote last nightA wee bit short yet full of mightWith shoulders back I stood uprightAnd faced the demon in plain sightNever more will I be deceivedBy senseless insecuritiesFor I am strong; Will I find her soon. And when I do, what new life experiences will we create. Also, why am not at a cool dinner party somewhere. I mean, it seems everyone on here goes to dinner parties. Why am I not there! I wanna go!On a typical Friday night I'm home chilling. Saturday, I'll grab a bite and a movie or I'll pop into a friendly poker game in town, or occasionally I'll see a blues band and have a few cold beers. :-DIf the idea/picture of shopping together at Trader Joe's...without your make-up on, maybe you're hair is in a ponytail, we are in our sweats and t-shirts...well if that makes you smile, then you get me :-).Okay, against the advice of my good friend, I choose to fully disclose the following...So to even further scare you away (I hope not), my 23 year old daughter moved in with me a year ago, as she is just starting out in the real world. Yeah, I know...but it is what it is. Room service? Lunch, dinner, drinks...anyplace where we can actually hear ourselves talk :-D. I think a great first date is one where we can share some great life stories...laughs, and if all goes well...maybe a kiss or three ;-). (Okay, if that doesn't work for you, that can wait until the second date)
