About Me

I love music and my musical tastes can run the gambit from rock to pop, from country to classical, from reggae to blues. You could say I appreciate the arts because I like movies, theater and art work almost as much as music.I've traveled around the U.S. a bit mostly for my job. In a past life I lived in Japan for a year (I worked for one of the major Japanese auto makers). Trying out new restaurants can be an adventure. I'm always up for trying a new sushi joint that won't bankrupt me or send me to the emergency room (no that has never happened). I'll always be a bit of a student of life - the day you stop learning is the day you start dying a little bit. I'm goal oriented but not to the point where its a singular focus and detracts from what matters most - family, friends, faith. For exercise I usually bike on trails around town. Cooking, reading, woodworking and home improvement projects are some other interests. I have two children whom I adore: a 14 year old girl and a 11 year old boy. They both keep me young at heart and I think I learn as much from them as they learn from me.What do l want? Given some experiences with Internet dating I feel the need to add some qualifiers. Faith in God is important - I'm a work in progress in this regard and do not seek a saint - you just have to be on the path. I respect people that have grown from life's challenges. I 'm looking for someone who is honest with themselves and others (that includes photos and info provided in your profile). Princesses need not apply but know that you'll be treated like a Queen if you win my heart. Just like many gals, I want someone I'm excited about seeing, who I miss when we're apart, the yin to my yan, who likes some of the same things I enjoy doing. In short I'm looking for a partner to share all life has to offer. That being said I also think it works best to *** times, call a few times and then decide if it makes sense to meet. We probably aren't right for each other if you can't take the time that it takes to get to know someone. If chemistry were just about walking up to someone who we liked how they looked and striking up a conversation we wouldn't be on this site....Thanks for stopping by and checking out my profile. Send me a quick message if anything peaked your interest. Something simple like meeting for a drink or light meal.

Recently divorced.. thought I would give this a shot. I don't like the bars or night clubs unless I'm with a group or someone else. Don't want to pick up women there and it seems there is always someone who wants to fight. I'm a lover not a fighter ;). Message me... First date... Does not matter where... if the company is good.

I hate this part. I'm quiet, a little shy, tired of being alone. I'm a hard worker, served in the army, love classic rock but can tolerate anything other than rap. I've been single for almost two years now, after a failed long-term relationship. What I want now is a forever relationship. I am honest, faithful and dependable. I want someone who shares those qualities. I'm not the least bit picky, anything from a game of pool to a Kid Rock concert.

Like going for long walks / hikes along the coast or on the moors. Enjoy afternoons in the beer garden, people watchingI am told I'm a good listener, but don't suffer fools lightly. I have a son who lives with his mother, but I have him over to my place on alternate weekends and he is a big part of my life. To be truthful, I probably spoil him too much and let him have his own way far too many times, but that is probably because I only see him every other weekend and want to make sure it is quality time I spend with him. Before he grows up and decides he doesn't want to come over and prefers to be with his mates. Do not mind. Walk, coffee, drink - as long as the person I'm meeting feels safe
