About Me

So who am I? I am me, just me and I'm comfortable with that. I hope you can be too. I am a simple kind of guy who likes being out doors, cooking good food (no junk), matched with a fine vintage and great company, bonfires in the back yard, taking in a show, camping by a hidden stream, a long walk through the park or just sitting around sharing a coffee. Other times I can be found letting my creative side run wild in my workshop. I work hard to stay in good shape – and I expect that you do too. Lately, I’ve been learning golf and would love a partner to share the pain.There is a little bit of a wild side to me too. I have lived in a handful of countries and traveled to a bunch more; climbed the high mountains, skied the powdered slopes, carried my pack through the lush valleys and rafted the wild rivers. I don't think I’ve ever met a beach I didn't like but if I do, there's always scuba or sailing. I’ve been fascinated by great cities, museums, old castles, classic churches and also some real “backwaters” all over the world. It is the candy that adds spice to life.My ideal companion would be classy, confident and comfortable with herself; sharp, witty and honest, with a positive attitude and a quick smile, a woman who is relaxed and flexible, a lady with an imagination who shares the same vision and is willing to try new things. A few other things that I have learned along the way• I am a single dad to a couple of great kids. They may be older but please understand they will always come first.• It’s OK to go slow. I enjoyed being married but that does not mean I need to be back there right away. I am looking for a partnership, not a rescue mission.     I Like just taking off on my motorcycle with no destination. I really like the feeling of freedom and would love to be able to share that with someone.
