To all the fine women reading my profile ... I can offer you a well educated, well rounded, physically fit, attractive man who combines humor, honesty, compassion, strength, brains, loyalty, kindness and thoughtfulness into one complete(?) package.I am very easy going and a lot of fun to be with. I lived there for nearly 20 years but returned home in ***to care for my ailing father. He has since past and I now live on my own. Thankfully, I have many good friends still in town and I have made a few new ones as well since I moved back. My mother, who is still pretty active, lives on her own in town ( we are both thankful for that ) and I choose to stay close by, so she has family around to lean on as she gets older. We are a close family but we each respect each others' space. If you like to eat ... I love to cook ! ( you get the dishes - or we at least split it )I even know how to put a toilet seat down. ( although this statement cannot be used against me in the future )Each night I take a half hour walk ... rain or shine. ( well, most of the time ) It would be nice to have someone to walk with again. Over the years I have played many sports. I have also coached High School basketball, Little League baseball and refereed High School football. I was also a kid once myself ... so it is safe to say that I am comfortable with children and they are comfortable with me.Throughout my life, I have tried to enjoy all the meats of our cultural stew.I am just as comfortable playing poker with the boys on a Friday night - as I am baking some fresh chocolate chip cookies for my friends at work on a Thursday afternoon.I am just as comfortable listening to a lecture on Global Ecomomics - as I am watching old reruns of Gilligan's Island.I am just as comfortable sitting in a quaint little theater watching a live play - as I am rounding third base on my way home in a softball game.And finally, I am just as comfortable setting up camp, pitching a tent and getting a fire going -My favorite TV show is currently The Office followed closely by Parks & Recreation. I feel he has been a great replacement for Larry King.Do you like CBC radio ? I enjoy listening to CBC radio a fair bit. There is always lots to learn and they always have great one on one interviews. And many would be surprised at the quality of music they play. I love the fact that they are always promoting the fine Canadian talent we have in this country !The ideal woman for me would be a thinker, an animal lover, a teaser, someone who enjoys dressing up and looking her best at dinner while not minding getting a little dirty now and then. ( you can fill in your own definition of the word "dirty " ! :)It would be great if she was somewhat athletic and enjoyed playing some sports. Hopefully she wouldn't mind being called Sweetie once in a while and she would show genuine appreciation for the little things I did for her each day. Not only will she be nice to me ... she will treat others with kindness and respect as well.She must be young at heart with a passion for learning and a curiosity for life.I think I am a fine catch but not an easy catch ...And for the record ... I would not wish to date anyone who thought she was a Princess ... although I would treat her as one.Have yourself a nice day and thanks for making it this far !FYI - I am not a big drinker but I do like to let loose at a good house party once in a while. Maybe one or two while watching a band at a night club or after our weekly softball game. Put it this way ... I bought a case for the house a month ago and there are still over a dozen left !Also, I prefer to be judged by the content of my character ... not the content of my rolling papers ! ***Friendly )P.S. I am trying to find that special woman to embrace the rest of my life with ... not slowly grow old with. ( there is a big difference )And it would be great if you had a few pictures of yourself included in your profile ... and please remember this ... I don't care what you look like to other guys ( and I think I speak for a number of men ) ... you just have to look good to me ... and in turn, I would hope I looked good to you.Every woman deserves a man who thinks she's the prettiest girl in the room !Don't you think so ?
