-filled week of bicycling on the Gitche Gummi Trail, hiking on the shores of Lake Superior, smores by the bon fire, canoeing and hikes in the woods. We swam in Lake Superiour - twice! Amazing. Sailing on the tall ship was the experience of a life time for my son and I.In June I rode on a ***mile bicycle camping trip in Northern Miinesota. It was a great trip with good food, great friends and wonderful conversation. And as always, enjoyed time with friends in front of a fire and cooking out. Just got back from another bike ride, first spring rain. Other than that, I haven't done much. I would rather:Be outside...than in.Be in the sun...than in the shade.Cook with someone...than for them.Enjoy the company...than look around.Watch a movie...than TV.Exercise...than attend a sports event.Exercise outside...than in a club.Have a tap beer...than a bottle.Have a nice bike...than a nice car.Have a few great friends...than tons of acquaintances.Build a fire...than sit by a gas one. Be alone...than with someone who doesn’t appreciate me.Take a unknown road...than use a map.Go without...than go in debt.Go on an adventure...than a plan a trip.See a sunset...Go camping...than stay in a hotel.Sit by a lake...than a stream.Be monogamous...than date around. I'm honest, loyal, attentive, funny, witty, sarcastic, adventurous and looking for a woman that can hold a stimulating conversation, likes to share and wants to have a great life. I don't lead a boring life.My work keeps me hopping and is beginning to send me to exotic locations from time to time. As I become more astute in my new profession (I've been at it since the beginning ***the adventure level rises and my work life balance is becoming a bit blurred; I love what I do and I spend my days trying to think of additional ways to do more. I am NOT a workaholic! I love what I do and by it's very nature I get copious time off and I have a very dynamic schedule. As an out of the box thinker I love extreme sports and still participate in as many as I can without causing myself any permanent damage! LOL A partner that likes jet skiing on the ocean, hiking, biking, camping, staying in 4 star hotels or island resorts, seeing concerts, theater, attending black tie events or occasionally staying in to snuggle and get drunk just looking at each other, kissing the night away would be a dream come true. I have 4 children that live with their mother and I do as much with them as possible but my children can only do so much and go so far...I would really appreciate adult companionship for travel to every tropical island there is and then everywhere else. blues music is my favorite but anything with the sound of a Stratocaster is great too and I love seeing live performances. I have written many songs and even won a few accolades for them. I enjoy performing and do so as often as I can. It helps keep me sharp. I like the big ones with the biggest rewards.I am looking for a woman that can be spontaneous and silly, sexy and communicative, wants to be a part of a great thing. I have had a great life up to now. I have great children and so many great memories I wouldn't be disappointed if I died tomorrow but there are still things left to do. I'm a doer, not a watcher so most of the things left on my "Bucket List" require a beautiful woman to accompany me as I have done most of the things on my list I can do alone. I'm easy going and im told I'm irrepressible I like to do anything within reason. Boating,Hiking,Fine Dining,Concerts,Travel etc. are all fun with the right friends. Have to say music is important to me and I am looking for someone with my same mindset. I would really like to enjoy my comfortable years with someone that lights a fire in me again. The experience of being in love and forming a deeply trusting and loving relationship is second to none in my opinion. I am comfortable in my career and have the time to work on a serious relationship if I found the right person. Someone that can keep me grounded yet inspires is always good.. I listen to all kinds of music and like alot of different artists:Korn,Disturbed,Shinedown,Nickelback, Lady gaga,Adele,Dautry...all flavors.....Three days grace..etc.Love to travel with a companion. Did it for 17 years while married and saw alot of places. Diving certain places is a great experience and there are many more still I would like to try as an amateur. Trying great places to eat and exploring local hotspots is fun. Experiencing what life has to offer with your significant other is what its all about. There is plenty to chat about and I am very open and forthcoming so if any interest drop me a message :) When I go on a date I want us both to feel casual and relaxed with a comfortable feeling between us and no pressure. Anything from Starbucks outside to Dinner and ballgame or a Comedy Show,Small venue musical show is also great! To take a walk in the park for a first date or a hike is also fun if its leisurely. I like to learn about the person in a setting that is lighthearted and entertaining if possible. I suppose anything where there is ample chances to converse yet some entertainment to ease the pressure of a first date. Just a thought.
