About Me

Obviously it is extremely difficult to talk about yourself in a way to give people an idea who you really are. First of all, I believe in humility and am not a big fan of people with large egos. Ironically, its usually people who do not have big ego that are more likely the ones that could, while the ones that do have big egos, shouldnt.Ive been told I am an attractive, intelligent guy although it still makes me feel uneasy but am very appreciative. I guess you can make up your own mind on that. One of the nicest compliments that has been paid to me is that people just feel comfortable talking to me and I do find it very easy to meet new people. I love to meet new people. I love conversation which covers just about any subject (although not a huge fan of politics and religion, but I can be sucked in to those too lol) No matter what the topic, it better include some wit and humour or it can get pretty dry, pretty fast.What im looking for? Intelligence, physical attractiveness (lets be honest, it plays a part for us all), employed, a positive attitude ( pessimism and cynicism are two of the top 5 most dislike traits) and chemistry.Lists of what we want and who we are may sound wonderful, but in the end its all about that intangible chemistry that I guess we are all looking for. There is a lengthy list of my "interests" but I could always add more as I find new interests all the time. Having a curious and creative mind is a great thing......usually. Although it has its moments when it would just be nice to stop being so curious. (examples provided on request haha)I have a small business that I run and still love it after many years. My daughter will be the number one priority so its important that you know that as I spend a fair amount of time with her and watching her sports, which like me, is her first love. Continuing to be active also plays a large part in my life as I still love the feelings of an intense workout, competition and giving all I have whether I win or lose.......although i do prefer to win, I can always accept losing as long as Ive tried as hard as possible. And then I need a re-match. This could include sports, board games, word games, or any other situation that may require another shot.Hope to hear from some of you. Pretty open on this one. Coffee (actually I dont drink coffee but I can have tea), dinner is fine, happy to go for a walk in the rain or sun. Maybe even go skiing or golfing.

    I'm starting a new chapter in life. I see a lot of people say that and sometimes wonder what that means. My schooling is now complete I have 2 degrees. One in Accounting and the other in Business Administration. I'm hoping that this opens up some doors for me all over the country. I'm always on the market for new friends, because you can never have too many true friends. I am a person which has many layers to me, and if someone takes the time look past the surface. I'm loving, compassionate, sensitive, and strong. It may of taken me all these years but I know from the loss of some dear friends that none of us are promised tomorrow, and I make an effort to make the most of each day that I'm given. I may not always do the right thing but it isn't from lack of trying. With my size I'm a fairly deceptive person, because I do keep a lot more active them most would know by the outside appearance. The cover of a book may get your attention, but it's the pages inbetween that hold on to you. I'm looking to make a future for myself, and it'll happen with or without someone beside me. That is just the cold hard facts. As people say, things are a little sweeter with the right person next to you to share the good and bad times with. GOD is a necessity in my life and if someone has problems with that then I'm probably not the one they want to be around.Hopefully you enjoyed the reading and with this slight understanding of me you are intrigued enough to take a look beyond the cover, and explore the pages in between. I have several of interesting layers below the outer surface, and like the rest of you, this small space doesn't begin to fully describe me. I feel it doesn't really matter what you do on the first date unless both parties are comfortable. If they can both be comfortable and themselves then they will both enjoy it and you will find out more about each other, which last time I checked is the objective of the first date.
