Man. 48 years old. Zodiac sign: Taurus.
Looking for: woman. In age: 45-55
In a nutshell...I'm part creative artist, part social-activist, part romantic dreamer, and part reformed bad-boy.I was raised in the Great Northwest by a dysfunctional family of filmmakers, not unlike circus perfomers. Sometimes I served as the light-boy, other times as the sound-boy. Oddly--for reasons I have yet to pinpoint--when I performed on-camera at the fat lady's urging, the ringmaster gave me roles as accident victims.-op gallery called the 3rd Eye. Outgoing and inquisitive by nature, I learned much about life looking through viewfinders, met many fascinating characters, had many thrilling adventures...and got a little lost in the fast lanes along the way.-old cedars that had somehow escaped the chainsaws, rented the old trailer parked on it, and fell deeply into the country life that was waiting for me.I hired myself out as a residential gardener (which I still do), figuring it didn't get much better than making people happy by beautifying thier gardens, working outdoors, and being my own boss. But then it did.Through a series of inexplicable events the river-whispered land became available for me to purchase "at a steal," I became an astonished landowner, and that led me into the thrilling process of visualizing, designing, and eventually building a zen-inspired custom cabin. What do you think of my work?Since then my gratitude for this place on earth just keeps expanding, along with my workshop, organic vegetable garden, and plans for a restorative guest-retreat (think river-paths, fire-pits, and japanese-style gardens with elevated walkways and giant rocks for stepping stones.) Right now I'm converting the gazeebo into a therapy-cabin, with a massage table, woodstove, covered deck and hottub overlooking the river. If all goes well I'll be hosting individual and group getaways by Spring because I can't imagine anything better than turning people on to enchanting and restorative experiences.Somewhere in all this I found the time and energy to get serious about writing my memoir--now weighing in at ***pages--about my crazy former life and how I transcended it. Already I've received some incredible feedback, including an offer for literary representation. Very exciting stuff!Soon the manuscript will be reviewed by a group of selected professionals, and once I swallow thier brutally candid feedback I can began shaping a final-draft. I'm looking for a woman who is confident, expressive, intelligent, slender...and can write in complete sentences. You are a creative artist of some kind (photographer, painter, sculptor, performer etc.) or a therapist of some kind (psychological, naturopathic, massage etc.). You don't mind mostly-weekend romance. And you want to meet...sooner rather than later. Whatever we decide to do--in the country or the city--I will be giving my full attention to you.
