About Me

First and foremost I'm a Christian. I am not religious and I don't claim a denomination as many do. Why? Because I simply believe in a personal relationship with God. God is first in my life and my number one goal is to fulfill His plan and purpose in my life. I'm fortunate and thankful to have had 4 songs make it to the top 10 on the CCMA top ***chart over the last 6 years. I am committed to reaching out to people of all ages through my music and the message of the Bible in an effort to help them find God in their life so they too can fulfill His plan and purpose in their lives.On the business side, I'm the President/Owner of a National Sales Organization. I'm also the director of the non profit Christian organization, Center for God, Family and Country. On the fun side, I love working out, going on bike rides, going out to dinner and to the movies, taking day trips, and just flat out laughing and having a great time. I'm a very outgoing person and love to have fun. I'm also a good listener and love discussions on serious matters. I'm ever learning, wanting to become the complete person I was meant to be. As far as a mate, I'm not looking for perfect but I am looking for a lady who is very sweet and kind, and maybe a bit old fashioned. I prefer she do some type of working out and be in good shape. I don't mind her having a career as long as it doesn't come before family, because family is very important to me. It's important that special person has a nutty, fun and free spirited side just as I have.An Ideal relationship should be centered around great communication. There should be a time for serious conversation as well as a time to put your adult side away and have a total blast together. Pride can kill a relationship, but humility can save it. I believe that if two people make a lifetime commitment or covenant to walk in God's Mercy and Forgiveness towards one another, they can weather any storm and the words "til death do us part" will become a true reality, rather than just spoken words.Finally, I want everyone to be aware that although everyone guesses me around 40, I am now in my 50s. I had to put under 50 in my profile on meetville because this program will not let me search for the age bracket of ladies that I typically date, which is in 30s and 40s.     I live alone with my two year old White Boxer, Miss Lucy. I am involved in the Boxer Rescue, as well as those of other large breeds. Dogs are wonderful. I love wine. I am a huge LSU Tigers fan. Also a fan of the Saints and the Dolphins. Communication is crucial, esp for online dating. Ask me anything...and everything. I will answer honestly. It's the critical component to not wasting each other's time. I think we owe that to each other--and to ourselves. Honesty is so liberating...better we see each other in the imperfect light of honesty than in "productions" that aren't real. Its okay to have a job you hate, have quirks, not be a perfect person, and occasionally have drama in your life. I know on these sites everyone is "drama free"...I am not buying it. First dates for me are usually at Starbucks or some other coffee shop. Could be a wine bar. A first date can always extend to a restaurant or something...I hear people speak of "perfect dates"...I can't answer that. A perfect date is really enjoying what youre doing with someone you really enjoy doing it with, whatever it is. IMO, its more about the who, than the where or the what. And perfection is never my goal...my goal is "good". Sometimes perfection beats up the good...and that's not good; not at all.
