I'm into the natural world and I incorporate it into my daily life. I like to tend my vegetable garden and enjoy the organic produce it yields. Working in the forest is a family pastime and I enjoy studying the interactions of the nature. I'm always building something or working on some project.I take a pretty contrarian view toward modern life, I think much of what passes for "normal" these days is really pretty abnormal. I'm not into technology for its own sake, I'm more of a wool guy than a microfleece guy. I think native cultures as well as traditional American and European living have a lot to teach the modern world. I don't submit to pressure to conform to any politically correct mantra, I'm comfortable in my own skin. I've traveled the world extensively in my career and enjoy experiencing interesting places, but not a big fan of flying anymore since TSA has become a sad reality.I enjoy seeing live music of different types and cultural opportunities that urban areas can offer such as museums, architecture, history. I think the world has a lot to offer those that are wise enough to seek it. Meeting in comfortable surroundings for conversation over a cup of tea, glass of wine or a beer.
