I'm a professor working on my PhD in Business Administration. My first novel is being published in ***, and my agent is shopping the second. I love to cook and dine out. So many people have come into my life, most leaving handprints on my heart, a few leaving scars. But they have all made me who I am. It is so much more fulfilling and amazing that way.One great joy is entertaining friends, usually when I am cooking a meal and my partner is helping get the presentation perfect. I am a pretty darn good cook, often recreating meals I've enjoyed at a restaurant. Baking requires precision and following a recipe. I use recipes for inspiration, but cook with my senses of sight, smell, and taste.I'm really looking for friends or dates or ltr. That said, if you are partnered or in an open relationship I doubt I'll respond. I do think everyone needs to have fun once in a while, including me, but couples and halves of couples aren't my thing. I'd rather meet single guys for a drink and see where that goes, but there are plenty of ways to get together. I prefer white men younger than me, but there are always exceptions. A full head of hair, dimples and a great smile are wonderful on any man. I'm vers/btm in case you got this far in my profile. I tend to be attracted to an all-American look. Smiles make me melt. A full head of hair and toned body are great too. But mostly it is positive energy (youthful energy) that attracts me. I'm not bubbly, but I tend to see the best in everyone. Sometimes I get steamrolled because of that, but I remain positive.I don't mean to be rude, but please have a picture of your face in your profile. Not one covered in a hat and/or sunglasses, but your face. Eyes are the windows to the soul and I like looking at them. Everyone is attractive in one way or the other...unless they cover their beauty up. A glass of wine at sunset. Something where we can talk but also have a memorable night. Down too earth guy, very funny, easy going, I enjoy a good cup of coffee with great company and conversation. First it starts out figuring out what to wear and what too talk about, once you get there you figure out just what the other person is thinking about you, then think about what the first thing to say and hope you don't mess it up, you wait for the smile, a look, or at lease a reply. Striking out a conversation and hope you are enjoying your evening. Then you hope it's turns out to be a long evening which is good, if its short then you go home and figure out your homework for your next first date.
