One of my passions is cooking. I love cooking for large groups or a small intimate dinner for two. I'm not a chef, but I am reputed to having cooked great meals for my family and friends.....I love exploring NYC and all it has to offer.I am very creative and a very laid back loving guy who loves planning and spontaneity. I'm a hopeless romantic, love to travel, love history, and love the outdoors and small and large home improvments. Mildly put, I am not afraid of power tools. I give 100% to a relationship until someone starts taking advantage. Then it’s time to have a heart to heart. By nature I am a care taker and in the past has led to a one sided relationship so would love to be with someone who knows how to give and receive. To me intimacy is as much an asset as sex. Don't get me wrong I think sex is a vital part of a healthy relationship, but intimacy is and should be apart of daily living. To me a simple touch can be more powerful than words. I spend time working out. I enjoy eating healthily but not to the point of obsession.I am a lover of cats, dogs,(especially Great Danes, they have a special place in my heart) horses and exotic birds. I use to run an Exotic Bird Sanctuary and was very rewarding. I was a vocal major in college, therefore I love to sing and make music. I also play the piano and was the minister of music at a church for 10 years. I spent 20 some years in the Hospitality Management Industry however; I left that field of work in ***to take care of my ill father. He passed in July ***. I like to read, however don't do much of it. Although I do read a lot on current events, history, construction ect.Fav. movies: Color Purple, Latter Days, Mid-night in the Garden of Good and Evil (book is good also)many more... Meet for coffee or drinks ask a lot of questions as to get to know the person...communication is key...

I'm just a somewhat normal guy tired of just having good friends. I have a lot to offer and looking for someone who is close to me in attitudes/views while different enough to keep me on my toes. I'm a pretty logical person who also listens to my emotions. I have my baggage, understand others do to and just really want to find a partner to travel down that long road of life. I have an amazing group of friends, so the caveat to any potential is know that you get more than just me - you get a buch of nosey people who will call you out on your bull. I appreciate them and value their input in my life. I could go so many ways here. I'd prefer something somewhat low key and not loud since my hearing isn't what it used to be so conversations could happen. Conversely, going to 6 Flags or some good local music would rock my world!
