I won't settle for less than great chemistry, lips that can't get enough kisses, and a life that includes exquisite, private hours of...sweet sensations. I think falling in love at this stage of life means finding someone with whom most of the pieces will fit together, and then the rest will work out fine. I'm looking for a woman with a healthy, happy, balanced life, but enough room to be adored. Words that describe me are loyal, grounded, warm, intelligent, reliable, open, articulate, sensitive, sensual, kind, sentimental, funny, vital, and sometimes stubborn, and impatient (I'm not entirely wonderful!). I try to always be in the moment, with both eyes on the road ahead, while always knowing what is in the rear view mirror. I love to laugh, to be spontaneous, and I'd rather find the humor in a tough situation and laugh through it. I prefer funny happy people to those who take themselves too seriously. I like good food, hot coffee (I'd rather pay for Peet's than drink free Starbucks), working out, watching movies and other performing arts, the rewards of hard work, listening to KCRW (often, and always when I'm in a room with a faucet), and I like turning off my iPhone and wandering through my free time, with no place I need to be and no *** deal with. I truly believe that age is a state of mind and body. A balance of work, family, and down time is essential to happiness. I'll fit in well with your friends, never show off, or force my political or religious views, or say anything to make you cringe. I love being with people who are genuine, interesting AND interested, those who like to engage and not just talk AT me. I like making a good living and I'm great at what I do, but it will never come before family and health. I've had jobs with great responsibility, traveled to many parts of the world, but, if I could make a living at it, I would spend my time as close to the ocean as possible, writing short stories, journals, and never look back. I like just about anything decadent and delicious in moderation. Exercise is an essential component of my life. I'm not a gym junkie, not obsessed with perfection, but fitness and healthy living have always been, and always will be part of my life. If you don't live a healthy, fit life, if it's not truly essential to you, we are not going to be a match. So much more to say, but I wanted to write enough to make sure it resonates with you. If so, the rest really can happen!...relaxing, breezy, comfortable, time passes by unnoticed, and the turns never result in us skidding out of control. It really doesn't matter what we do on our first date, as long as we can hear each other talk, and sit comfortably together.

This is a strong indicator of the likely success of a relationship..;) Maybe you have an initial sense of my personality? Yes, I can be sarcastic, silly, playful and witty. But, I can also be intense, passionate and serious. Often our best attributes can also be our most challenging. I am a Father first and foremost. I have three beautiful and dynamic teenage daughters. I am extremely involved in their life. My girls would say perhaps intrusive..;) It is true that I can tend to embaras them when we are out with my antics! The most sexy and attractive quality to me in a lady is that she is a good Mother. Yes, believe it or not that's what I said! I have experienced a great deal in my life;And from that experienced I have gained a lot of wisdom. I have had my share of failures and successes. This has yielded a balance between definite confidence and self-assurdness tempered with humility. I am self evaluative and know myself extremely well. I am clear about what I seek in relationship and the qualities that attract me in a woman. I think too often in our culture men look to get definition as to who they are as men through women. A man should bring to a relationship an already healthy developed sense of self and clarity as to who they are. I am also clear about what characteristics I seek in a woman. You don't have to have children. But, if you do I find that our likely world view may be more suitable. Your are passionate about something in your life. It can be a general sense of passion. Or, it can be something specific in your life. You are nurturing. I don't mean that I need to be bottle fed..;) Unless, this is a mutual agreed upon activity. This can be great foreplay..;) I mean you support me in endeavors and my desire to grow as a man. You have gained wisdom in your own life and are prepared to share that experience with me. You are not aggressive or too dominating. One of us in the relationship is enough..;) I don't find this to be too feminine. Don't mistake what I am saying. I want confidence in a woman. But, that's the key term.."as a woman". So, this process is likely not my style. I am very personable and outgoing. But, I am not making it complicated or putting my hopes and dreams into this process. I simply thought I would open myself up to the possibility. I may not be for you, But, if I am you will find me to be direct. You will always see me coming without agenda and pretense. Lastly, my profession is time consuming. I own a professional corporation that provides legal and psychological services to children and their families. This does not define me. But, it contributes to who I am. I am an attorney and psychologist. Please don't be intimadated by this. I'm not implying you should be. But, I have experienced this before. I am far more street smart and down to earth in my personality. I like to think I am a bit different and unique. But, that's for you to decide. I tend to communicate on an emotional level. I will tell you how I feel as well as how I think. Most men struggle with this style of communication.I have a busy and sometimes complicated life. These days I am attempting to make it more simple. I have spent a lot of my time caring for others in my life professionally and personally. Sometimes in doing so, I have given too much of myself away;attending less to myself. I am seeking a healthy, committed relationship in which true intimacy is achieved through being emotionally open and truely sharing in each others lives. This takes time.
