I'm a very kind, respectful, intelligent man , but I've yet to find the person who I know is the right one who I will be with permanently. I've always believed that "when you know it, and don't question it, then it's right!" and have lived my life by that rule. I believe in "give and take" but can't do all of the giving and will never do all of the taking. Communication, trust, and respect are critical in a healthy and lasting relationship. There...I've put it all out there and guess what...I'm a great guy to be around and very loved and respected by my family and friends. I'm clever and witty and love to laugh and make people laugh. WTH...seems kind of silly. I'm all for a "Have you ever been diagnosed with a mental illness?" box lol*Hmm..."I want to date, but nothing serious" or "I want a relationship"...could they not find something in between there? Let me try to elaborate...I'm not actively looking for someone to marry...I'm also not looking for someone different for every night of the week! If I meet someone, and we click, and things are going good...I'm not going to be asking someone else out! I hope that's plain enough. *When I grew up I was a Soldier, a Firefighter, and a Racecar Driver...not sure what's left...* Yes, I answered that I do not want children...that does not mean that I do not like kids, or get along with them. It simply means that I figured I'm past that point in my life where I'll be fathering any more little ones. Is it out of the question? I suppose not.. if I found the right person...It's just not one of my goals lol. * Along those lines...one of my favorite things is spoiling my grandkids! Yes, they're very young...but I do have them. If that's an issue for you, you need to peruse more profiles, because I'm not going to stop doing that.*Yes, I race cars. I always have, and will for as long as I can afford it, and get in and out of the car under my own power. It's just one of the things I do.*Yes, I'm divorced...HAPPILY for several years now. In my defense, our daughters don't speak to her either...*No, I'm not a religious person. That doesn't mean that I don't have a highly developed sense of what's right and wrong..it just means if you're looking for someone to go to sunday school with you...I'm probably not that guy.*Yes, I've done some incredibly stupid and dangerous things in my life...I will probably do some incredibly stupid and/or dangerous things in the future with mixed results on the pass/fail scale, depending on your evaluation of the end result. Yes, I do realize I don't heal as quickly as I did when I was younger...no, I will not hold it against you for saying I told you so.*Yes, I keep my hair short...I always have, and suppose I always will. It keeps me from grabbing it and pulling it out!*There seems to be an inordinate number of you ladies on here looking for black guys. If you're looking for only black guys...why not just put that in your profile and save everyone a lot of trouble?*Yes, I suppose I'm happiest going ***mph with my hair on fire...I've done it since I was very young. I suppose that's my normal now.*Would you date someone that has BBW or a few extra pounds selected as a body type? Now that's sort of an odd question to ask..as it is such a judgement question! Would I date someone with a few extra pounds...sure, no problem. However, what some of you consider a few extra pounds, and others consider a few extra pounds are entirely separate things! A few extra pounds is one thing...if you're taller laying down than standing up..I'm out. Sorry...call me judgemental, shallow, or whatever else you choose...but that just doesn't push any of my buttons...If you've ventured this far...drop me a line if it made you smile...even a little sly one ;) ...and maybe it's just different enough from other profiles that you've trudged through to at least make you appreciate that it doesn't look like it should have been written with a crayon...No games please...been there, done that, not interested.
