About Me: Where to meet people these days is the question. I think it's best to keep from going out with people you work with. Going out to bars isn't really my thing anymore. I think that most of the barflies have floated into cyberspace. I don't go to church. Have you ever met anyone in a supermarket? Dog walk parks are supposed to be good but I don't have a dog. So what choices do I have left? At this age I don't presume much of anything anymore. When I was a kid "hooking up" was getting together to have some fun with friends. I learned a quite different meaning when I used the term with a women with younger children. The look of horror was overwhelming. I like kids. There's nothing like seeing the care a mother has put into a well mannered child, especially a single parent. Nobody is ever portrayed as good or as bad as they truly are. To tell you the truth I don't know if I'm a jerk or a good guy. I have a deep belief in what comes around goes around. When it comes to Internet dating it can go either way on the twist of one word. It's particularly bad when you can't see a facial expression, or hear the inflection of a voice. This Internet dating is difficult. Unless you write "lol" after a joke whatever you say is taken literally. I joke around most of the time. I love to laugh even it's at myself. I read a lot of profiles where they're asking if the glass is half empty or half full. I guess karmic-ally I'm better off saying it's half full. That's what everybody else says. Who doesn't like to walk on the beach at midnight under the moonlight?I've never cheated on anyone and never would. There's no game playing or jealousy here at all. I've saved a bit of the world and still extend my hand when somebody needs it. I also think that everybody should make an attempt to make the world a better place, even if it's something small. You'll be surprised how much a smile can change a person's day. I think that I'm "good guy" or I can be a bad as you want. A big part of a relationship is trust. You can go out with your friends and I can do the same. This is of course as long as it isn't cutting into our quality time. I wear a baseball cap when I'm working but I have a full thick head of hair. I don't have an accent and sound younger then I look or so I've been told. I'm confident, not arrogant. I always ask for directions when I get lost. I can cook. As for music I listen to mostly 80s music but my tastes range from Bach to Zydeco. I like anything cultural, photography, NYC pizza, flea markets, movies, fairs, amusement parks. What profile would be complete without moonlight, museums, wine and coffee, the beach and the water. I'm a simple guy that enjoys the simple things. Are you an intelligent, kind, honest, pretty, sensitive, woman, who’s comfortable in a pair of blue jeans and a T-shirt? Are you somebody that's confident with the way you look, and are you still emotionally available? Do you keep yourself fit? Are you body type athletic, thin or average? I’m looking for an intelligent, women, maybe a little quirky, with a nice smile and laughter are a must and I like a little sarcastic humor. I'm not looking for super model pretty. I like the girl next door look.Can you make relationship decisions that don’t involve a round table of single girlfriends?If you’ve been hurt in a previous relationship are you willing to open up and take a chance? .I don't know many of those abbreviations, "lol" or "brb" are the only two and I don't use them. I prefer English, not text talk. It's not bad dating like this, but a facial expression or an inflection in a voice makes a big difference. If you’re separated you’re still married, go back one sentence. Give yourself some rebound down time and then send me an e-mail. Some place nice quiet where we has can talk and get a couple of drinks.
