About Me

I'm fun loving, sweet, romantic, easy going thrill seeker, not a fighter...more of a lover. But if someone hurts my family or friends I'll fight!! Happy in most any environment. I make friends easily, and am adaptable to all sorts of conditions. I'm always wiling to help out a friend in need, and I've even been known to help a stranded motorist now and then...my thought is you get back what you give. I Love ...love... love to laugh and crack jokes! I like sassy women, and i'm not afraid to give it back. LOL! But I do have a shy side. My friends would say I have a big heart.ps...brownie points if you know the movie quote on my headline....If you don't I'll give you a clue :) Sounds good!

My hobbies are motorsports and motorcycles. I enjoy watching Formula 1 and MotoGP races. I have attended both and would love to get back to see more of them. At one point I would love to go to Europe and take in some events. I also do love to ride motorcycles. I have a sport touring one and a dual sport one. It all depends on my mood which one I go out on. There is so much to see and so little time. My taste in music is related to music from the late '70s and the a lot of the '80s. I still enjoy going to see bands live. Some of my favorite bands are Dream Theater, Joe Satriani, Alter Bridge, AC/DC and many others. I do appreciate all types of music though. Just some more than others.I'm complex, confusing and simple all rolled into one. I'm looking for someone to hang out with and someone to spend time with. Someone I can share things with and someone who is not afraid to be themselves. My motto is "Be True to Yourself".And one last thing to remember is that Elvis is everywhere. He's in everybody and in everything. =) My first date thought is coffee and chat. Something in a neutral place to see if chemistry is there.

I plan on lots more travel. i have an R.V. for stateside travel and rent motor-homes out of the country as an alternative to renting hotel rooms and autos. My taste in music 50s doowop, 70s rock, current country. I like country bars but have a healthy man sized dread of dancing. just so you know. I can be fast paced and frenetic, but, I do have an off button. I like to camp but need the amenities ie shower, microwave, roof. not a hunter ( too early, too wet, too cold) or a fisherman (see hunter). cityscapes, very intricate. at my age you know I've had a few relationships and most just run there course, people change. but I will say I would never wish that this or that person in my life was not worth it or i would of wished it had never happened. I loved them and still do. they were right for me then and I for them. moving on. I have a motto and not to scare you but it goes like this.. ahem: "My plan to waste my entire life is all most complete!" now let me explain. I'm not the kind of guy who wants to die gripping a fistful of cash my perfect ending is on a porch in a rocking chair recalling the memories i made. some people would think im twisting in the wind as im not continuing to push forward put a few more bucks away that im spending money on intangible things. I think memories are the wealth of a persons life and the truth of the matter is i'm wealthy beyond compare. I've stored more memories then a dozen wall streeters who'll only have there cash to count at the end of life. the most valuable thing in my home is my pictures the only thing that's truly irreplaceable. Its the first thing i would grab in a fire. i love to build memories, i love taking photos. Do not get me wrong I'm not broke. just not hung up on money. wow, that may of gotten a little too deep i tend to get a little off track. lets change gears. I think i have a good sense of humor . people seem too laff around me. hope its humor and not that i failed to zip up. like to kayak the sound, lakes, easy flowing rivers. easy hikes, shopping ( i know weird, huh), movies, zoos, kids, Alpacas, dogs, tolerate cats ( have one), laying hens (some of my best friends ( even weirder)) I have many friends just at this point not that one friend. the one who makes photos worth taking. the one who we'd pass photos back and forth to one another in our rocking chairs. wow i reread this and it seems a little like i should be wearing a skirt. jk I recently had a lot of toys ( sold most of them off in the last year) and realized nothing was bringing me the happiness i need . that's because what i need cannot be bought.only given. Strange how life teaches. and how one can be so blind at times to what is there in front of them and how simple and attainable true fulfillment,, contentment, and, happiness can be part of ones life without the grind and chase for one more dollar. I am looking to obtain a simple home in nature on a shore (lake, river, creek) in the woods with a little garden. no one really needs gilded lamps , silk sheets,or, a Porsche..A comfy chair, a good book, chocolate milk,a cold beer, a peanut butter and dill pickle sandwich, a call from my daughter, a new great favorite song, a really great photo, a road I've never traveled. a place i've never been. meeting someone new. these are life's treasures. everything else is just a rental. A peanut butter and dill pickle sandwich, chips, and, chocolate milk, picnic!. or your call.
