Well, I'm going to try to refrain from writing my life story on a dating website, so here goes! I've read alot of profiles on here stating theres ALOT of creeps out there, and I'm DEFINITELY not one of them! I'm a decent, completely normal, (yes, I said NORMAL), hard working guy, looking for that connection thats not easily found with a decent, hard working & respectable WOMAN... LOL Financially responsible would be nice for a change! :-) I am a responsible parent, a good provider, a good listener, a good leader, love kids (no matter what age yours may be), and if your active in your kids lives, I find that EXTREMELY attractive!!! I'm looking for a beautiful person, inside & out! No more exceptions! I have traditional morals & values but still know how to have fun & stay active. Boating, fishing, camping, & most outdoor activities are tops with me! I like outdoor concerts, weekend getaways, family, and good friends. I lead a drama free lifestyle, so should you within reason... Definitely not into games. At my age, I realize most women have teenage kids, which is fine with me as I usually work well with teenagers. I have a 26 yr old son & a 19 yr old daughter who are the most important part of my life! What I'm looking for is class. Dignity. Pride in both inward & outward appearances. And a sense of humor! I love to make people laugh! I'm not looking for perfection, theres no such thing as perfect! I have alot to give to the right woman! As long as there's the right kind of mutual respect.... Divorced for 4 years.About me: I enjoy sporting events, doing anything with my kids (which my son is 14 starting 9th grade and plays basketball. ... Don't settle. We both deserve sincerity, honesty, loyalty... I read a lot of skepticism in girls profiles on here. Maybe it's warranted, I don't know. If you want something meaningful, you're going to have to take the risk of being vulnerable at some point. Now I'm not talking true vulnerability on a first contact or even a date... but if you say you don't want a player, but you approach every possible relationship with a high level of distrust, only a player will continue to pursue you. You will attract exactly what you don't want. We all have a little baggage & we've all been burnt. I'm looking for someone who has the strength to trust again. It's scary, but we will earn it & we deserve it. My baggage is minimal. :)I'm a business owner who enjoys dining out, comedy clubs, concerts, my motorcycle, movies at home or out, and more for your regular type of stuff. But for those special experiences, I like to be bold... I've skydived, scuba dived, driven race cars, took flying lessons, rode my Harley across the country, recorded a CD of my own music, etc. I've never really had a "bucket list" because when I decide I want to do something, I make it happen. I love to laugh (I know, who doesn't). I play guitar at church. I love to sing! I like a lot of different kids of music, but my favorite is something with soulful vocals. I have 2 daughters (age 7 &***that mean the world to me. They are such good kids. Kind, caring, funny, well mannered... I get to see them almost everyday, because they get off the school bus at my house & their mom picks them up later. I have a good relationship with their mom, meaning no drama, not meaning there's still a chance of getting back together. When I think of long term possibilities... If you have kids (& I don't mind at all if you do), they must be nice to my daughters. That's really the only "deal breaker" that I have as far as starting to date. Of course, I have talked to my single friends about their dating nightmares & I may come up with new "deal breakers" after I have a few of those disasters they talk about lol. Well, this is my first try at this online dating thing, so if you're interested in learning more I'd love to talk to you.PS: POF's little chemistry test didn't really represent me very well when I started to read the results, so don't put too much stock in that. :) I kinda like the idea of a lunch date to start off. It's casual, and has a built in time clock so we don't have to stay long if we don't click. It's enough time to see if we want a second date, and not so long that our friends have to text us to see if we need an "emergency" to call us away from the date lol.
