About Me

Have you ever seen a epic movie that you can put yourself in the shoes of the main character? All movies ever made follow one of these 10 different themes. One of these themes is an epic saga called "The Hero's Journey" Ordinary person, a little courageous, but wet behind the ears, taken on a journey from their homeland to new, exciting places. They face challenges, they learn, they grow and they eventually "slay the dragon" and rescue the princess! This is my life. I have been on the hero's journey. Finding my mission in life, my calling and my passions. Thinking I found true love and letting it slip away. I've matured as a man along the way, learned valuable skills and life lessons that guide me today to new heights. I have finally discovered what gets me up in the morning and keeps me fueled with an eager passion for life. I want to touch it, taste it, feel it and experience it. Living each day like it was the only day I had left, well not quite that dramatic... but I do love my life. The greatest thing is that it keeps getting better and better ever day... The only thing missing is someone amazing to share this experience with!Looking for one good woman. Not just any ordinary woman, someone who has Midwestern values with a fun playful side too! You keep your body fit and so do I. I enjoy being active, not only at the gym but I enjoy hiking, playing in the pool, jogging, recreational sports, mini-golfing and even cuddling on the couch watching a good movie. I am affectionate and looking for someone who is as well. I believe in the healing, energizing power of touch... and that elusive amazing kiss that sends pulsating tingles down you spine! Probably best to meet casually first time to see if we have chemistry. then we can plan something more exciting and romantic for first "date".

Hi Here's some back ground on me:I have a stable job (same employer for ***years) and own a home I don't like to clean. I also have a small place up north that is missing that one girl who likes the outdoors. I have culinary skills that has not seen a second plate setting in sometime. I do know how to hold a door open for a lady and I'm a person that likes to be on time. I consider myself to be a straight forward, genuine, thoughtful, creative, responsible and low key of a person. I'm not a big fanatic about sports, but I do watch some football and golf. I plant a garden every year (veggie kind) and enjoy spending time out doing yard work, cutting the grass is not one of them. Type of music for me is KQ or 108, some country here and there. I'm the youngest out of 6 kids and my siblings still think I'm a brat, I think its because I'm a Taurus. As far as my being single status....... I have been divorced since 98 and had a few long term relationships since then. Single life is ok if you want the easy road, I'm still looking for that challenge and not looking to be heart broken along the way. I'm not always the greatest on holding a conversation, I'm more of the quite type. What I'm looking in a woman? I'm looking for a partner and a lover that won't drive me crazy, someone that's self confident and knows what she wants and needs and can put her LAST RELATIONSHIP behind. I will add though I'm not that guy that makes the first approach when wanting to meet someone of interest and I'm not just looking for that brief encounter, I want more, really. I hope you can handle that! and yes I do read your profile. Also to add, I do look at if I'm right for you first, before thinking are you right for me. Some common ground should be there and not just base on attraction. But attraction is always good for starters. Any interest? don't be shyIf not, best endeavorsP.S. Please have a current pictureThanks for responding FYI: I'm seriously looking for a relationship, I'm not your typical d-bag of a guy! Seems some woman have past issue's one of kind or the other. Please move on if you still have hang ups from your last relationship, not here for you to waste my time or yours!. Thanks first date? Let's see, if you don't have me drive ***hour to meet you and you don't show up for it.Your doing better then the last one. otherwise we can meet for a drink and fight who get's to be closer to the door. LOL

I apologize to you if I don't seem real eager to jump into a forced awkward intimate situation that people like to call dating. I don't like the feeling. You're sitting there, you're wondering do I have food on my face, am I eating, am I talking too much, are they talking enough, am I interested I'm not really interested, should I play like I'm interested but I'm not that interested but I think she might be interested but do I want to be interested but now she's not interested? So all of the sudden I'm getting, I'm starting to get interested... And when am I supposed to kiss her? Do I have to wait for the door cause then it's awkward, it's like well goodnight. Do you do like that - hug? Where you like, you hug each other like this and your sticks out cause you're trying not to get too close or do you just go right in and kiss them on the lips or don't kiss them at all? It's very difficult trying to read the situation. And all the while you're just really wondering are we gonna get hopped up enough to make some bad decisions? Perhaps play a little game called "just the tip". Just for a second, just to see how it feels.Honestly like living a clean life style and work out 5+ times a week... all initial reactions to someone are based on physical appearance so the above is a movie quote and is meant to be funny not serious.... Coffee is always a good thing to do for conversation and see what happens from there...If you did not figure out that the headline and about me sections were filled in with movie quotes..... might not wanna write back
