I am ready, are you? I always enjoyed buying flowers for my girlfriend every week. I miss that. I enjoy a nice quiet dinner for two as much as meeting our friends out for drinks and dancing...well maybe not dancing. It's been awhile since I have danced, maybe you can fix that. I enjoy a good comedy at the movies but it never hurts to go and see a romantic movie, or even a scary movie where I can protect you from the killer(or you can protect me!). I am not a coffee drinker so I don't think meeting at our local Starbucks would work. To me a nice first date would be to meet at a nice neighborhood type bar. Have a drink and munch on some food while getting to know each other.If the meeting works, maybe we can find a spot and you can throw me out on the dance floor and help me work out the kinks in my dance moves.Just try and get to know each other and hope there is a spark.Why not?

42, SWM here wanting to meet a honest caring affectionate clean woman with a good sense of humor. A sense of humor is very important to me, I love to laugh and make people laugh. I like movies, dining out, gas burning trips in the country and a lot more, but having a special person to cuddle up with and share those things with makes the world a much better place. I also love all kinds of music and enjoy a good PC game. But not Polka music..I do not enjoy Polka..never will. I also like kids even though I have none of my own. Im very clean but not obsesively and do not want to be the only one cleaning up. I also like cooking and dining out. I am looking for a meaningfull one on one relationship. Someone to make number 1 in my life before anything ! In my book commitment is not a 4 letter word but I promise I am not looking to pounce into anything serious right away. Honesty and faithfullness are musts. I am willing to take things slow. Just meet or talk on the phone and let things fall where they may. It would be nice to have a woman whom I can sit down with on a Thurs and go through the good times and pick out a play to see or movie or something. I dont mind a homebody either but ya got to get out sometimes. Just a quick note on kids. I understand fully your kids always come first and I would not want it any other way. But if it means I let my kids walk all over me and your going to have to deal with it...that is not acceptable. I have delt with that to many times and its very sad to see a mother scared of her own kids and Im powerless to do anything, or im a bad guy for saying their kid is a spoiled brat after he tells his mom to F$%# herself and she does nothing about it.....Im not going there again. Kids should respect their mothers and if she decides to date they need to respect him too as an adult. I am not looking to replace anyones father but if you have young kids I am more than happy to help *** good value system in them and treat them as my own if things go that far and they need a man figure in their lives. I know I sound harsh but I know exactly what kind of person I am looking for and have to be that way so it will work out. I am actually very flexible on most things and believe honesty and comprimise are the cornerstones of any healthy relationship. We all want to feel like we matter. I will not settle and neither should any of you. I know your out there. After a few phone conversations and e-mails meet someplace for a drink or two ...bar (even though Im not a bar person) , restraunt or a park. Even for coffee. I first meet should be casual like meeting at work or something..then onward maybe...:) Or even just meet and go for a walk. Just relax and talk. Im very easy to get along with. I am looking for the long term real deal. But I always welcome a new friend into my life even if things do not develop romanticly. Just get together with no wild expectations to talk and listen.
