People have told me that I am polite, funny, and hard working... Also that I am quiet, slightly sarcastic, and that I laugh at strange things. My taste in music varies. Looking at the 'Recently Played' list on my iPod;+ the Machine, Depeche Mode, Great Big Sea. It seems that I have aged recently as earplugs at a concert are now mandatory. TV? One show.... 'Walking Dead'. Season 3 was added on Netflix recently - I binge-watched the lot and now I'm done til next year.I like to cycle, love to walk. I try to run 5 km before work most of the mornings that I am without my children. It is rather fulfilling to create and I like to work with my hands *** sitting at a desk doing administrative tasks. I usually would not go out of my way to see a sporting event, except for one of my daughters' soccer games. My oldest enjoys going so I will occasionally get us Sens or 67's tickets (I suspect its more about the roasted almonds than the hockey). When the CFL is back in town, we'll try that too. I will watch playoffs on TV, at a friend's house or the pub.I have two wonderful daughters. They are with me other week as part of a separation agreement. Their mother and I communicate as necessary regarding their health, welfare and activities. They are perfect for the urban commute and can very easily handle a weekend (or longer) getaway. Now I don't spend hours in the garage, whispering 'sweet nothings' into their gears or anything like that but I do appreciate the quality, utility and uniqueness... and they have a nice shape. Not sure what I mean? Watch this Starbucks commercial; *** would be a great way to spend a day?-old stone building, or photographing the old couple holding hands as they walk down the main street... and ice cream.. in a waffle cone. Please feel free to send a message if you would like to know more. Better yet, tell me a bit about yourself (and please don't forget your photo). A chat over a cup of tea or coffee seems like the most common option for an initial meeting. Other stuff is good too. I'd love to hear your suggestion.

I am tall, handsome, enthusiastic, open-minded, intelligent, and athletic in the right amount...sounds too good to be true doesn't it...Well, honestly if I was an attractive, athletic, spirited, independent woman I would date the guy in this profile because he is positive, great in bed and generally very warm and giving. I think relationships work well when both put a bit into it...in other words...it has to be a two way street. I don't waste time or money with bad habits like getting drunk/drugs or smoking. I would rather spend my energies and funds on worthwhile projects. I am also a neat freak and if you are too that would be great!!!My favorite thing to do is learn a new skill (also applies in the bedroom btw). I love sailing and getting where I need to go as cheaply and comfortably as possible. High efficiency actually turns me on yet waste, fat, bureaucracy turn me off. I am presently writing a book that I intend to publish and use the proceeds to buy a boat that I will eventually live on full time. I guess this is my little pursuit of freedom in a world that doesn't seem to have much of it at the moment. My #1 fantasy involves building an off-grid home in some wooded area where there is no traffic and somewhere to dock my boat nearby where there is access to the open ocean...Hey, I didn't say my fantasy was going to be cheap...I guess I am a bit of a hermit but I am not anti-social. I just need another hermit like me who can appreciate me and I can do the same for her. Perhaps a booth in a nice quiet restaurant...maybe "Shores" in Port Credit or similar. If all goes well up to that point then maybe a Guinness at the little pub on the corner to round things off. Nothing set in stone and I am open to suggestions for movies etc. should the mood arise...and a swim...***hour after eating... ;-) ....ok cancel the swim...too cold now. Lets find a place with a fire place and drink hot toddies all night...
