I'd really rather talk about you, but since this is my profile?? I'm a good natured, observant guy, with a good memory for details. If you tell me something that is important to you, I will remember. I'm active, and occasionally spend time with my friends doing things. This rarely involves "just hanging out", as I like to be helpful, productive and useful. I look at every moment with my children as an opportunity for them to learn, and I?ve learned quite a bit from them at the same time. I'm a big kid myself, and really enjoy sharing new experiences with my boys. We have a TV for watching movies, but have been without a cable connection for over 7 years. We do own some video games, but I'm happy to say that we rarely ever turn them on.-karts. I've lived on both coasts, and in the mid-west.-and am again enjoying the "city" life. I do miss my chickens and the herd of cows that were my closest neighbors. I've always been attracted to adventure and risk, although I strive to balance that with practicality and common sense. I've broken a few bones and sustained a few concussions, so some of that common sense has come the hard way...I am somewhat tamer now than in my youth, but with age comes wisdom and technique, right? I believe that many things in life don't have a "one size fits all" solution or answer. Whether it's politics or religion, I love to hear other people's backgrounds and viewpoints. Every view is valid, as is my own. Politically, I'm a middle of the road type. I've voted on both sides of issues based on research rather than strict ideology. I will listen to an argument, but do not enjoy arguing. Not. At. All. I had a great relationship with my father, who was a great role model and friend, and call my mother regularly. I believe in a higher power, but don't actively attend church. I've been divorced for 7 years, and absolutely over it. I'm looking to connect with someone who is interested in me for who I am, not who they'd like me to be. Pretty standard stuff, I know-but it needs to be said. I do spend quite a bit of time in self-reflection, but it doesn't keep me from trying new things or venturing out on a limb from time to time. I'm always looking to make the most out of every situation, even if I've made a misstep or mistake. My ideal match would be someone with diverse interests, and a sense of awe and adventure who would like to come along and explore.... Writing is not one of my best abilities, so I'd prefer not to *** before meeting-so much can be misinterpreted that I would much rather talk on the phone or sit down somewhere quiet. Coffee in a quiet place, a walk along a nice path, beers in place where we can hear each other.....
