About Me

Hi....I'm looking to meet someone kind, beautiful, and affectionate with a great sense of humor. I called myself "class clown" because the rest of the personality descriptors were just too far off center; but I was also thinking of "intellectual" and "athletic" and "professional" and "free thinker".; I play brass in a couple of local amateur bands. I collect old vinyl LPs, mostly jazz and classic rock. I am nuts about sunsets, and will drive at breakneck speeds to get to spots where I can see the sun go down! Fall is definitely my favorite season....I enjoy most sports, especially football, tennis, and MMA, but I'm not the least bit interested in golf. I exercise hard, daily, and I take very good care of myself; everyone tells me I do not look my age. In fact, although I put down 45, if you've read this far you need to know I'm actually 50 years old, but you might not have read this far if I told you that up front, no?! :-) I love to travel. A cross-country road trip is on my bucket list. As a psychologist, I love peoples' stories, and I am an empathic and observant listener. I love good movies (dramas or comedies) and eating out, and though I don't get there enough, I love NYC, especially the East/West Villages and the High Line Walk. I grew up Catholic, and I'm very spirtual and philosophical, but not very religious anymore. I have degrees in Philosophy, Theology, Counseling and Psychology (yes, 14 years of Higher Ed!). In relationships, my love languages are "acts of service" and "physical connection". I'm very handy, and would one day like to build my own "green" home...another aspiration on my bucket list!Finally, I'm a devoted dad to my 7 year old daughter, who has me wrapped around her finger! I'd prefer the low stress option of meeting over coffee or a drink. If we click, then maybe dinner and more.
