HiI'm relaxed, easy-going, creative, inquisitive, passionate about what I do, sensible when I need to be but can still have fun when I don't, enjoy socialising and travel, and yes I am genuinely single (I know there are a lot of married men pretending they're not, so just thought I'd say). I don't have kids from a previous relationship so I'm also baggage-free, if there is such a thing. I have no gender, sexual, racial or religious prejudices and expect the same from the one I'm with.I keep in shape but don't spend hours in the gym any more. ***'ve discovered a revolutionary new way to stay slim called not eating as much (yes I know, I couldn't believe it either at first). Expect a book out later in the year. I believe men should look after their woman, treat her well and be a proper gentleman. But at the same time I'm no pushover, so if you're looking for someone who you can wrap around your little finger, I'm not him! I'm not the controlling or jealous type either - in fact I really dislike people like that. Relationships should be about caring, trust and respect, not control.Like most guys, I enjoy some time with my male friends but that doesn't mean I'm just another arrogant, male chauvanist, football-obsessed neanderthal with a room temperature IQ. I'm educated, well- I like going out to dinner, the cinema, cultural days in the city, camping, exploring, country walks, and generally just having a good time. I also have a sense of humour and can usually string sentences together with more than three words in them, so you don't need to worry about uncomfortable silences - I can walk and talk at the same time. I have dived in Thailand, the Red Sea, the Great Barrier Reef and South Africa, and those were amazing experiences so I definitely want to do more of the same. I can't think of anything I'd rather do than relaxing on an exotic beach or exploring the culture and art of a foreign city with someone special by my side, so I just need to find that special person.. (easier said than done)P First dates are always uncomfortable so just something relaxed. Meet somewhere for coffee or a drink after work and get to know each other.
