About Me

I am currently living alone, having separated from my ex over 5 years ago. I am a father of a little girl, who lives with her mother. I get to see her a couple times a week.My friends would describe me as caring, loyal, and friendly. With a slightly cheeky sense of humour and a strong sense of morals. It can be a very rewarding job, and at the moment I'm loving it. It can be great fun and I get the chance to do some great things as part of my job.My main hobby is aikido, for those of you who don't know, it's a martial art; but not one that encourages any type of 'macho' ism. I train twice a week and have done so for 13 years. Aside from aikido, I love to read and am an avid fan of fantasy novels. When I'm not reading or training I like to socialize with my friends. I have small group of close friends for whom I would bend over backwards to help them if they needed it. I also enjoy the chance to cook, and consider myself to be ok in the kitchen.In the future I would like to get a chance to explore some more of the world, and would love to visit Australia, and New Zealand if I ever get the chance.In terms of entertainment I am a fan of action, thriller, gritty dramas and sci-fi films. I'm not at all interested in football or soaps. I am not adverse to listening to classical, rock or pop, but not a fan of opera. Definitely not keen on drum and base, garage, trance, rap or very heavy rock.I am looking for someone to date long term, not at all into the idea of a one night stand. What am I looking for in a woman? Well someone that likes food, has slightly risque sense of humour and a sparkle in the eye. I don't mind if you have children, pets or hobbies. In terms of types, well I like curves and am not into overly skinny women. That said too many curves doesn't really float my boat either, so you would be somewhere between a size 10 and a size 16. I really value great conversation, so it would be quite nice if you had a brain and are not afraid to use it. They say the eyes are the windows to the soul, and I am very attracted to nice eyes.I am a great believer in monogamy, so if I am seeing anyone to meet up or going through the whole lets see if click thing, I wont be talking to anyone else.
