About Me

Argh! the hardest part... selling yourself....So why am i here.Well i work in construction and have more than my fair share of male friends and colleagues and as such spend my days surrounded by 'airy a***d geezers chatting football,boozing, etc etc. Which is fine but you can only take so much , so i joined meetville in the hope that i might meet some of the fairer sex and experience that right side of the brain thinking.. you know.. creative,balanced, intuitive etcAs for me hmmm... no oil painting, well not strickly true more of a picasso.I have a dry/dark sense of humour and love to make people laugh. My taste in music is ecclectic but would probably benefit from a bit of modernising and renovation. Not too bad in the kitchen have been told i cook a mean sea bass/bream on the bbq. Quite partial to mexican and indian food, i enjoy swimming and being near the sea, cinema, comedy, forests etc.Currently feeling the urge to be more creative (aspirations of being a sculptor... pretentious or what hahaha)just started to learn the guitar (any tips/tuition gratefully received).Like to try new experiences and have a generous nature (share my last rolo). Erm mental block think j thinkSo if you want someone to make you laugh and smile when feeling blue or someone to share the crossword with on sunday over a drink and a roast dinner, or someone to go and see that band that all your mates think are crap then give me a shout.And if not then good luck remember no one has a monopoly on happiness so lets all go and get our share !!!!!!!! getting smashed on sambuccas? seeing a god awful cover band? naked bungee jumping into a jar of marmalade? or all of the above

    I'm someone who is happy with their life, who enjoys it as much as possible, but would like that special someone to share it with. I love to cook, swim and walk although I have never tried combining them. It sounds like one of those combinations that is liable to end in disaster, so I keep them as separate as possible!! Well, perhaps, but I prefer to see it as having 2 very fulfilling ambitions - to watch my son grow into someone I can be ever more proud of, and to find that special someone to share all of those little moments of life with.When it comes to films, music, books, etc. I have about as varied a taste as possible! I will happily watch just about any genre of film, love all sorts of music from Camille to Pop Will Eat Itself, the Doors to Take That. Nothing extravagant, a drink and a chat, get to know each other, see if the spark is there, and then plan from there.
