I've just been floating through life trying to do and be the best I can. Lately, I've decided that even though it's been a pretty great life so far, it might be better if I had somebody to share it with! I think I have lots to offer the right woman, and looking so much forward to doing so. A short list of adjectives that I would use to describe myself is generous, respectful, funny, smart, understanding and compassionate.....there's a few more but I'll let you find out for yourself. I'm a little shy at first, but bear with me, that dissipates quickly! I'm 42 and have never been married and have no kids. I've kinda been living the Bachelor lifestyle. Well, it gets old and lonely. I'm ready to open a new chapter in my life. I'm just hoping it's not too late. I need somebody to motivate me to travel, to learn things I don't know, and to try things I've never tried before. I like who I am and I'm pretty proud of what I've become.....but I just feel like there's more, and I want you to show me!There's some qualities that I think are important, but aren't necessarily a deal breaker. First, I think one needs to love themselves. How can anybody love you if you don't! To love yourself is to take care of yourself. I try to stay fit, eat semi-healthy and don't do anything that would jeopardize my future (ie. drugs and cigarettes). I'm having a good time on Earth and I want to prolong it! This next one is real important: must at least appreciate ALL animals. If you don't know how I mean that, move on. A few small examples: if you have a problem with my dog sleeping at the foot of the bed....it probably won't workout. If you don't SAFELY slow down to avoid a squirrel, it probably won't workout.....if you don't like animals I don't have much for ya. I like to ride motorcycles, go four-wheelin', and take in local shows when I can. Currently, I eat out all the time and it gets pretty old. I would love to split cooking duties with someone....but I'll have to learn how! I've got some friends that mean a lot and some that don't. Sitting around a fire-pit listening to some tunes with some good friends is a great night to me, but also going to a bar and watching some sports on TV and having a couple beers sounds mighty fine too!Nothing hidden and no lies. That's how I try to be and that's kinda what I expect. I'm not counting on a lot out of this site, but I thought I'd give it a try. I know she's out there, it's just proving to be a little difficult running around in the same circles I always run. If I'm not the one for ya, I wish you luck and I hope you find everything that you are looking for! I'm wide open on this. I know by reading some of your profiles, they just want the man to decide. Well, that's fine but I'd need a telephone conversation or two to get an idea of what would fit for both of us. This could range anywhere from a nice trail hike with OUR dogs, to a nice quiet night on the town....depending on where you're from and what you're feeling like!

    Hi well I'm from the prairies and have lived all across north america from coast to coast... to coast(the warmer southern one) but I keep getting drawn back to the east coast. Work keeps taking me back out there quite a lot lately and with some upcoming projects I am planning on buying a second house on the coast and then split my time between the prairies and the coast and maybe somewhere warm too.. I still haven't chosen the location yet but I have several areas I'm looking at. Any suggestions you may have would be greatly appreciated. I am highly creative and have a hand in lots of different things. I have worked as a internationally respected artist with pieces being sold around the globe. ironicly i have no art training and have a double major in bio and geography. I studied marine bio at Dal and have a deploma as a massage practitioner. I'm presently developing an epublishing company along with an internet based tv show/ develope a network( long term goal...lots of VERY long nights and hard work) I love to meet new people I can quiete easily make a lasting friendship with them by getting them to laugh. I put people at ease and I'm very likeable. (think its the curly hair that does it... ) I think the host of a tv morning show I did years ago summed it up perfectly... I'm oddly charming. I have found on these sites I've more likely made a connection with a really good friend, than a romantic one. But I have also found from personal experience and those of my friends that the best relationships have their roots in friendship and grown strong from there. I keep going on the same bad dates in manitoba, maybe my ship will come in on the coast... (ok that imagery was quite lame lol but I'll try and come up with something better later ;) I love to hike and bike and kayak but lately I have been hard pressed to find the time to do it. working from home again would allow me to have that freedom and can make my own schedule. This is also one of the reasons I'm moving out to the coast. running my business from home allows me to have a better quality of life. Also having someone who knows the great little outdoor gems in the region would be fantastic!well I will keep this short... if you want to drop a line please feel free to do sothankstps you can see a test for a project on youtube just go to metoddscott and you will see some of the videos.I must warn you if you are scared of giant spiders... you might want to look away but they are not real and just made out of cardboard and spray paint....lol a warm drink and a walk. something where we can talk and move and enjoy the day.
