I was raised by my parents to be a strong confident man, but I am a very passionate person. I’m not afraid to show affection or to talk intimately. I don’t think you always need to be macho to be a man…lol. I like to hold hands, kiss when the moment strikes, and talk deeply with my partner, but I can whoop some A if someone gets in our way...lol. I really do believe the woman I love should be my best friend. Sounds a little old fashioned..lol. I work hard so I like to have fun when I’m on my own time, be it, going out on the town or just hanging at home with a bon-fire and a beer. I love the outdoors, but I’m just as content staying in. I love to cook and I love great food. I’m a huge music fan and I really enjoy playing my guitars…as time permits now- a-days..lol. I’m a man of my word and I’m very loyal to the ones I love, so I’m very attracted to loyalty, Honesty, and a great smile goes a long way with me. I love to stay fit, so I would love it even more if your conscious of your physical and mental health; that way we can work together at it. I’m looking for someone to share experiences with and hopefully build a relationship with. Someone to have inside jokes with...you and me against the world so to speak…lol . Love and relationships can be very difficult, emotionally, at times, but the most important things that can minimize the difficult parts are trust and loyalty. I really feel that if you can trust the person you are with and you are loyal to each other, the difficult parts of love i.e. jealousy, insecurity, fear become minimal. If what I had to say interests you send me a message…I won’t bite…unless you want me too..lol. Ok that was corny!…but I’m leaving it in. A first date should be somewhere we can talk, but have some good light food and a nice atmosphere; this way we can enjoy a bite while getting to know each other better. A sushi bar or a Tom’s Oyster Bar would be great. I love music so some playing in the background would be an added plus. I would like to be somewhere we can go for a walk together if the moment strikes...or weather permits….…lol.

    I've always been a small group kind of person but between divorce and my friends getting married and having kids, my small group has shrunk down to...well, a geek and his dog.I've joined Meetup and have been meeting lots of people, making new friends as well as finally getting some regular exercise - hiking and biking. I'm certainly looking for a traveler's companion when an adventure presents itself, but I'm more interested in the other 99% of life:- the nights on the couch with pizza and some movies- a weekend hike- braving parallel parking and going to Schubas to see an old (or new) favorite- checking out a tribute band at a local bar- holding hands and sneaking each other kisses while we run errands at Home Depot and Target- staying up way too late playing Rock Band or Katamari Damacy- paying for a movie and sneaking into two or three of them- taking long drives with good music and looking for UFOs (or at least suspicious looking streetlights)People who have just met me think I'm too quiet. People who know me well may want me to shut up sometimes.My divorce is final so there is no lingering legal baggage there.
