About Me

Ok. Where do I begin? With that being said. I am looking for my best friend. Someone that wants to laugh (a lot) and play, have fun together and eventually experience the most passionate relationship. I have been divorced for 4 years. I dated for 2 years, and then took a year off to go to counseling and I stopped dating. I learned that you have to love yourself before you can feel love. There are a few things though. I will always open your door, hold your hand, kiss you goodnight, flirt with you in the store, text you something sexy at work and always make you feel like you are the most important woman on the planet...because you will be.A few things that concern me. Regarding your pictures. If you have 23 posted and only one of you, with the remaing pictures being your cats/dogs, sunsets, your car, miscellaneous quotes from ***, I am a bit concerned. To me at least, this is a dating site, and I would love to look at your beautiful face. We can check out your photography skills later. Also, for those of you that say you don't want anyone to message you looking for a quick hookup....but you post pics of you in a lace teddy with your boobs hanging out...sorry, but most guys see the picture is what you really want. We are visual creatures. Trust me, I love boobs, but it is a turn off if everyone else gets to see them too. I am not your typicaly guy, trust me. I was married for a long time and know what makes a woman happy. If we meet, and you say..."This is too good to be true. When am I going to wake up?" . That is a huge turn off for me. When the best thing in your life comes along, embrace it, don't question it.I work in a creative career creating video and graphic design stuff. I just finished my first novel and it is published on Amazon. I love to write and am currently writing books 2 and 3.I do not play video games, I don't wear camo, wear hats backward, wear Afflication t-shirts, pose in the bathroom with my shirt off, or with my latest hunting expedition with my big truck. If that is the guy you are looking for...keep looking.I am romantic but a guys guy, I listen to ACDC and Classical, I love to cook, shoot pictures and spend time with the one I love. Is that you?One last thing. If I don't reply to a message, please don't be offended and then send me messages about how mean I am. Life is too short. I don't get replies all the time. There isn't always a connection for a lot of reasons. I would rather just fade away than tell you specifically what I am not feeling with you. That never ends good. Here is an excerpt of my book. Hope you enjoy. "The Healing Seed"He stood in the doorway, almost as if expecting someone to say something beforehe left. The wooden planked floor creaked as he slowly shifted his weight from one footto the other, and then he paused. The silence in the room only mirrored her response. She never came, she didn’t call out to him and she never would again. Not that he couldblame her.Monica hadn’t been back to his apartment in over two weeks. He missed her, butdeep down he knew, begging for her to come back would only delay the inevitable.Jonah had met Monica three months before, after standing in line at El PolloGuapo, one of those, make it in front of you burrito places. He had noticed herimmediately. She stood in line ahead of him, absorbed in her i Phone. She was in herlate 20’s, around 5 feet 7 inches, beautiful blonde hair that fell over her shoulders.Eating seemed to be a distraction to her, only looking up to order, then she becamereemerged with her phone again.Jonah sat facing her, a couple tables away, mesmerized by her beauty, but almostas much by her intensity. She almost ate without taking her eyes off of whatever wasdrawing her to her phone. After a couple of bites, Jonah noticed a smear of avocado hadremained above her upper lip. He cleared his throat, getting her attention and thengestured to her with a napkin, wiping off his own lip. She stopped chewing for amoment, finally recognizing the reason for his movement. She moved her napkin to hermouth wiping away the smeared guacamole and as her eyes widened, looked backtowards Jonah and mouthed, “Thank you”. Jonah smiled, and went back to his ownburrito trying not to stare, glancing up occasionally to find her back to her phone.Jonah’s personality wasn’t to approach women, but especially women he didn’tknow. He sat wondering how to approach her. Then she suddenly stood.“She’s leaving.” He thought, “Another missed chance”.Then to his surprise she walked past him, sliding her business card under hishand. Monica Paulson Home Designs. He stared at the card then looked up at her asshe walked out the door, pausing briefly to look back at him and smile. Her hair blew inher face as the door opened, and then she was gone. The card remained fixed in Jonah’shand, and then he turned it over and read-“I would love to hear from you.”It was fast and furious in the beginning with Monica and Jonah seemingly notbeing able to get enough of each other. She has finally able to slow down a bit from thehelter skelter lifestyle she had created for herself since college, and he now had openedup a bit after three years of first and second dates since his twelve year marriage hadcollapsed. They spent time going to art galleries, going out to dinner and dancing andthey even had taken a couple of long weekends just to get away, anywhere, as long asthey were together. Then it happened, again, like a virus waiting patiently inside your body, waitingfor the most inopportune time to show itself. Jonah slowed down; the calling and thetexting. Work in his studio required more of his time. They only went out a couple oftimes a week and then this relationship virus attacked completely.Jonah would now go days without calling. Monica’s texts would go unanswered, and then she stopped. She stopped trying. But he did it, slowly pushed away the best thing that had been in his life. And now, she was gone forever. As Jonah began pulling the door closed, his eyes scanned the apartment lookingto see if there was anything that he had forgot. His eyes stopped when he spotted thelone airline ticket sitting on the breakfast bar. His heart sank. He stared at itmomentarily, and then slowly began to shut the door....I mean, coffee dates.Lets do something to allow our personalities to come out.

looking to make some friends and if i run across the right woman, a companion. i personally dont like to be alone. self employed. can do about any thing to do with a house. have a daughter i love more than anything else. i like chatting but do not invite me to go to another site. ya want to chat, it's here, unless i get to know you and give ya my ***'t get out much. don't trust people, so it takes me a minute to warm up. i like to crack jokes, even write down things that happen in my life that is funny. what else do you what to know? you will have to ask. have a nice day!any one taking the time to actually look at what little information i have here, i thank you for your time. that depends on the person. i would go out with any civil, intellegent person and see if we are compatible. we are all adults here and should be able to carry on a conversation even if we may not go out again does't mean we can't have a good time. the date is all about getting to know the other person. i relize they are awkward at first but that is part of the excitement.
